I've pushed the GY6 ruck right to its limit a couple times, and have been elated (and thankful) for its resilience to dumping (knock KNOCK on wood). Though I have kept the suspension as stout and tall as possible, perhaps that's the definitive difference? Don’t get me wrong! I love my Ruck! But when that wheel comes lose, the way it whips around (either high side or low side) is just nasty. I gotta believe that if it was higher and not as powerful it wouldn’t do that. But I don’t know. Would I trade it? Heck no. Gotta get back on that horse cowboy. I'll probably try to bend the front peglegs back when I get home next week and possibly ride to work

Ooof! No good Spazter! I'm glad you're mainly OK and it wasn't worse. I've been sick for about a week and haven't been riding but I'll admit this morning I was looking at my spedo right below 20 and thought to myself -- "Oh jeez, and he was only going 15?!?!". Heal up quick man! Thanks. And yeah 15 is definitely not fast at all. I feel like I could probably run faster to be honest. But the momentum you carry plus your full weight when I face planted was no match for my skin against the pavement. ATGATT as the ppl with experience say lol

I've seen a buttload of TMAX scoots here reminds me of @90gtvert. Not sure why they need that much power in the city TBH other than possibly to go two-up on them or a trip to the next town over.
Between the lights, the traffic, and the pedestrians a stock ruck would be perfect to go around here in San Sebastian, Spain.

To comment on what @fuzzruttin said, when I’ve laid my bike down, it just scrapes along the front pegs and the clutch bell. Pretty tough. Just picked it up and rode off... might have had to bend something back but not too bad. I actually stopped replacing my clutch bell because it seems as soon as I get a new one for my open CVT, the bike will go over and mess it up. So I just leave a messed up one on there now. Superstition.

Between the lights, the traffic, and the pedestrians a stock ruck would be perfect to go around here in San Sebastian, Spain. I've only seen 1 other TMAX that I recall. Sadly I wasn't on mine at the time or I would have tried to race him. lol Some of the big scoots don't feel bad at all in town. The TMAX is certainly more to handle than a 150lb scooter, but it doesn't at all feel like it weighs almost 500lb unless you have to push it uphill or likely if it falls over and you have to pick it up. Feels pretty light even at very low speeds. If all I did was ride around the city, I'd never buy one though and it would be a huge waste of money. ~150cc is about perfect for that if you ask me, because it can be stock and reliable with enough power to do whatever you need in town. In many areas 49cc wins for lack of motorcycle license, cheaper registration and insurance, and they get parking perks vs larger bikes.

A ruck wieghs nothing.

@90gtvert I'll try to take pics 9f some when I see them. I think they're one of the most popular models here. I'd love to ride one just to see how different from the ruck it is. lilpinny Those Vespas don't look to heavy but I guess with metal "fairings" that's what you end up with. They're awesome looking tho

Hate to see this happen to you, hope the healing goes well, and thank you for being brave enough to share it with us. Sunshine makes me wanna dress for the weather instead of dressing for the ride, and this is a reality check for me. Also, I may have reported you to the proper authorities for Ruck abuse. You might want to get an attorney. (hope this made you laugh) Rucksanne sustained minimal damage. But I'll be ready for the authorities lol Im just glad 8ve been procrastinating on the CVT kit and ankle biter. Or else I would have been really pissed off haha I got some peg legs I'll send you. I never used them.

Hell yeah lilpinny I really appreciate it 🙏🏼 No worries... but yeah, it hits your front pegs and clutch bell. You still have the CVT cover on, but it hit in the same place. Otherwise the bike is fine.

Recorded about a month ago. User error installing the throttle cable to my OKO carb was the issue. There's some pics and I explain how I installed it vs. How it's actually done....damn was I dumb lol youtu.be/YnQcv-N-mzY
