As usual the ruckus was having issues starting up. (Need a new battery...still)
Got it to start up after lots of failed attempts but then the starter seemed to stop working. The button is still connected and everything but there seems to be no power to the starter motor. But all the lights are still working.
I'm hoping it didn't burn 🤦🏻♂️

Update. The starter motor works. Took it off the motor and powered it with a battery and there's no grinding or anything, the gear rolls like there's no tomorrow.

I have done the following: -checked the fuses in the "fuse box" (they are good) -Took off the starter motor and applied power to it directly and it works -tested the continuity of the button and it closes the circuit when pressed. -on the harness plug for the starter with the key set to on the voltage is 8V from GY cable to battery + and 0V to battery - -on the harness plug for the starter with the key set to on the voltage is 8V from YG cable to battery + and 0V to battery - Seems like there's a short somewhere.
