Hey guys. Look what spaz gave me! Had to drive from Seattle to Las Vegas to get it, but she's all there! Just ordered an ignition switch n key, I'll try to get her fired up as soon as I can. I'm thinking I'm gonna do all white plastics with ruckus wheels and whitewalls. Slammed obviously.

So, what are the restrictions on these motors? I'm new to 4t stuff. I'm gonna keep the motor stock and do cvt work to make it a little faster. I'm gonna keep her as the stock-motor'd scoot for friends to ride and grocery/parts store runs. I'm tired of waking up the neighbors with my 2t zuma every time I run to the store at night. I'm sure they love the 10-11k rpm runs at 10-11 pm.

A friend of mine had a Sym Fiddle II and that one was restricted on the cdi and variator.

His is the adult version and runs about 40

I'm in between him and Vegas. And it's about a 15 1/2 hour drive from me. So add 3-4 more hours to that from where Benji is. Ahhhh yeah.... 20 hour drive. That's dedication! Haha

That's right, 20 hours each way. Spent less than 6 hours in Vegas before I turned around and came back. Loaded her up, went to the Bellagio for breakfast, then hit up a gift shop and left town.

Thats one hell of a drive for a free scooter. not just any scooter- an '06 metropolitan. I've always wanted one cuz they look cool, and '06+ are supposed to have better motors and be slightly faster. Which is great cuz I wanna keep this as stock as possible.

My understanding was the 2005 was the last of the severely restricted Mets. Nice looking Met by the way. I like the hounds tooth panels.

I think the super-severely restricted ones are the metropolitan II's, they only do like 25 mph or something. Hopefully this isn't one of those haha.
The '06 & up are supposed to be a couple mph faster than the older ones, like 43 mph instead of 38 mph haha.

It's the type of motor in a ruckus or metro. A Honda version of the GY6 49cc motor.
