A diehard 2T person would say this is way too much trouble for a slow stroke As for the fuel pump; I hardly glanced at this scoot, let alone take the time to remove parts from it. I'm glad that someone who appreciates it has it and I can see that it's in good hands now. if it was anything but a met or a ruck, I'd throw a chinarelli in it and be done. I did it before haha- the 4t-to-2t vino classic. But I got that money-pit bug that says 'it only needs these couple things...' haha. Good thing I got my Zuma. I'm about to ride that to the taco truck in about 45 mins or so.

Oh, and thanks for the met!! I've always wanted one!! Here's the carb, had some horrible sticky ooze in there. Cleaned it out w the chem-tool, and drilled out the nasty-ass stock jets to 40/80. One of my new TR buddies gave me some oem jets to drill out, but the Jets he gave me were nicer than mine so I drilled out these ones. To anyone who hasn't seen it done, here's some pics of how to upset w/o buying anything. All clean and rejetted

Wow! Yeah, I don't think so haha. Pulling this carb off is like removing a carb from a 1983 Honda Accord. Very little space and lots of vacuum hoses haha. I still need to go find a rubber stopper or the pair input.

GET a vacuum hose cap from the auto store for the pair valve.

Well, got my new ecu, and it still doesn't do anything when you turn the key besides blink the stoplight once. WTH?

From what I can tell, the ECU isn't getting the signal to turn on or something. It isn't sending the trigger to the main relay to turn on. It looks like the ecu provides ground to the relay and the key provides power, so the ecu doesn't wanna trigger for some reason. I wonder if it's cuz something is unplugged or maybe cuz the fuel pump isn't plugged in?

Does it click once and flash the brake light at the same time? That's what mine does. Thanx for checking that btw. Ive got a fuel pump on the way anyway, hopefully that'll get her started. I only paid like $60 for it so it's not like I'm out much. Jbjhillbilly, keep that ecu- it's still good and a high rev limit one. You may need it someday.
