Are all shortcase 139qmb frames the same?

I have an 2012 Tao Tao CY50-T3 "Magic 50" scooter I acquired as payment for fixing another scooter, and plan to fix and give it to my friends brother as a birthday gift. However It needs body parts...




I cannot find body parts anywhere for that specific model and the 1 website that does have them, does not have any contact info or reviews, so I don't trust it. (scooteratvparts .com)


Are all 139qmb shortcase frames the same? Thinking of buying body parts from another bike and swapping them into this one.

Either that or buying parts for the ATM-50 and cutting and gluing them to fit.

I only need the front panel that covers all the wires.

Not really. There are a lot of variations. I don’t know if there’s a difference in ATM-50 and ATM-50A1

Several options: Tao Tao’s parts distributor (use the search function)

Go to scrappydog and I.D. what body style you have, then you can order parts as needed. Take your time though. Lots of little differences.

    Hi, I know where to find atm 50/50a1 parts, they are everywhere and cheapest on ebay

I just need advice on a Tao Tao parts seller, that would have CY5-T3 Parts, or if I could use body parts from another model.

Sorry, got ATM-50 stuck in my head.

Scrappydog is know here. The very first scooter in the scrappydog link has the CY50-T3 in its list. They refer to it as the Type 1 or Sunny body style.

Whoever you order from, call or email and confirm they have the parts in stock. Some of these have been known to put a hold on your credit card until the shipment comes in.

All small frame 50s aren't the same, but yours does look quite a bit like an ATM50/Sunny style. I don't really know if parts will swap over, but I'd guess that would be the closest candidate for swap parts. I've got PDI videos of my ATM50 on YouTube where it's in various states of assembly and you can see body panel removal and installs so you may be able to get some insight by checking that or pics vs what you're seeing on yours.
