I don't ever recall being hungover in my life. Then again, I've been actually drunk maybe twice and even drinking one drink is a really rare occasion for me. The only way I ever liked beer was shotgunning it vs someone. It's a form of racing and I didn't have to taste it for long.

Like many of us, I was a real beer hound at one time. But as my thirties were winding down it started to seem like those hangovers were lasting 2 or 3 days!
So I don't have much taste for any alcohol these days. I suppose I actually would be a tea-totaller except that I've got one friend who I get together with and drink a few from time to time. Average might be once a month.
And I haven't drunk a full strength beer in, perhaps, ten years or so. I stash some NA beer at the home of htis friend. I mix it with regular beer and drink that.
It works well. It allows me to get just a little bit 'lubricated' without being sick the next morning.
I'm still a pretty horrible caffeine and cigarette fiend, though. I'm not too sure I'll ever get away from that short of the grave.

Occasional beer drinker. I Especially like the belgian special tripel and blond beers. They hit you like a hammer if you drink them too fast.
Yeah, hangover is my middle name. I can be totally useless for a whole day after a night of mediocre drinking. Its a shame really...
But then again, the crazy, fun and sometime plain strange situations you get involved in and all the people you meet on a drunk night out are onforgettable and i don't want to miss those for anything!

Kind of depends on the day in question. I used to qualify as a semi-pro drinker, especially true when I was living in Australia. But there have been a couple of times where one or two beers have annihilated me.

I dont even get slightly inebriated. I just get the taste and wake up like i got hit by the city beer truck.
I used to poke the smot, but stuff about good jobs and wizz quizzes put an end to that 7 or so years ago.
Still inhale my cancerettes and run on pure caffiene like its going out of style.
Attempting to give up the nicotine... for the uhmmm-teenth time. At least after every one of my quit sessions, i solve another "trigger" and my general daily consumption is reduced. These days its about 5-7 butts a day mostly driving. On days off at home, its 2-3. If i could scoot more, i bet the driving trigger would fade as its impossible to have a cigarette through a full face helm at 40mph!

Ha! I am the opposite atari. In my 60's, super high alcohol tolerance, which can be dangerous. I am lucky enough to be blessed with enough "time out" ability.
I love craft beer...plan to make some again...love Scotch, so I don't buy it. Love wine when in US or Australia, too expensive here.
Nothin' beats the right beer flavor at the right moment though. North-West American IPA, dry hopped, heavy duty stouts and Belgians...Imperials! If you don't know what that is? No need to try. Nothing, howeveer, beats a Russian Imperial Stout for flavor and "go to bed now."

I have been shit-faced a number of times but I have never suffered from a hangover the next day. Michelob can be a horrible pain in the kidneys while I am drinking, but other beer and mixed drinks have no immediate problems other than inebriation. I have no idea why. I don't really like to drink so it does not matter much.
