I have the chance to buy a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250 low mileage. The young fellow lost his privilege to drive. He was asking $700.,but he told me that I can get it for $500.With some riding gear. Red/Black.looks mint.He has not rode in 2 years. As he said need to drain the gas,so I took it as not been cranked and run in the 2 years. My question Is it worth it,I never owned one. Before it got parked it was in perfection.,new chain the match the color of bike.it was well taking care of before park.I valve all input on the matter. Thanks y'all

Ninja 250’s are beginner motorcycles. Lots of people learn on them, then trade up. Not bad bikes, but not like a Ninja 400 or bigger.
Grab it if you like it. I’d check the compression and see if the engine will turn over with starting fluid

No need to delete it. I moved the post to Off Topic, but it's fine here. It sounds like a pretty good deal as long as you're willing to put a little work into it because of it being dormant. BLue book is $2,000-$3,000 on a 2012 according to KBB. A quick look at fuelly shows most seem to be doing 50MPG or more. Has power/speed to go wherever, though big bike guys see it as low on the food chain. I ride a TMAX 500 that is also low on the food chain, but that doesn't mean I can't have fun with it. Just don't expect to keep up with the bigger bikes. ultimatemotorcycling.com/2012/09/09/2012-kawasaki-ninja-250r-commuter-test/
