Eeeek... Sucks. At the least, you're improving slightly... Glad of that.
I'm guessing the fracture was from impact to front inner section of the scooter...? Maybe that's why it's uncommon.
Heal up fast, Brent!

Sleep has been very limited lately. 2 hours one night, 4-5 the next, 1 hour last night. I'm a zombie. Hard to get comfortable, can't shut my brain down (even though it feels like it's barely working otherwise)... just staring at the clock all night long. Lots related to PT, because I stay nervous about having to go in around a group of people. The nights that I get a little better sleep are the nights when I don't have an appt the next day. I know how this works, I have been a zombie for so long that I am trying to sleep all day except for those 'appointments'. I get up to piss and eat also. It is a catch-22. I do get to see a doctor next week for the shoulder pain I have been living with for two years and a long list of other problems. I don't even want to think about the bills...

I guess I should note here that my shoulder is improving. Don't want to sound all negative. The left arm is of some use now. Not much, but I can do stuff like help to wash my face, get dressed easier, and things like that where at first it was totally useless. Couldn't do much but put something light in it to carry as I walked at first. Lots of room for improvement, but changing for the better.

I have not been seriously on this site for a while since the only riding I do is deliveries for a restaurant in downtown L.A., while my TGB is back in Yuma, AZ, but I feel your pain! I had a motorcycle accident back in 2014, and it broke my clavicle and broke a rib or two, as well as my elbow...shoulder is the equivalent of putting nails on a chalkboard--hard to describe but 'gross' feeling like that! A few months ago, a car cut me off in downtown traffic, and I laid down the restaurant's S-Max and seriously injured my knee; it still kind of hurts, but seems to be okay now. Rest easy--the ribs and shoulder will heal pretty quickly, but the knee is a pain (pun intended) to heal.

Hope you heal up well. I’ve hit my fair share of deer in cages can’t imagine it on 2 wheels. The deer population around us is crazy

Just noticed the other day on I-95 a sign saying WARNING HEAVY DEER AREA. Right in the area where my car bashed bambi. Last year. I've looked at the deer signs on Rt50 between OC and Salisbury so many times late at night on the TMAX cruising 80-85 passing any traffic around. Occasionally slow down to 65-70. Gonna have to re-think that. Right now, I just wanna ride 4MPH everywhere unless there are barriers at the roadside TBH. lol

Hoping things get better for you very soon. Maybe the TaoTao 50 is looking better now? Just kidding. I'm really hoping you heal up soon and back to 100%. I know I'm looking forward to more How too's and ride updates from you.

90GTVertBrent, just watched one of your crash update videos. Is this the first time you show yourself in a video? I had a totally different image in my head as to what you would look like. Worn out black Metallica T-Shirt, heavy metal long weavy hair tight to a pony tail. Something like that and I see you look not that much different than I do. I am just the smaller version of you. :-P Your new bionic arm looks great the doctors did a good job. Just give it a few more weeks to handle the 1000lbs crushing power and you'll be good. [/jk] No serious, glad to see that you are fine. The damage on the scoot sucks though especially the custom made stuff hurts since you'll have to redo all that.

I just watched the new videos and it’s great to see that you can get around and function. The scoot damage sucks but glad it’s not worse. What about new gear, do you have replacement?

Is this the first time you show yourself in a video? I had a totally different image in my head as to what you would look like. Worn out black Metallica T-Shirt, heavy metal long weavy hair tight to a pony tail. Something like that and I see you look not that much different than I do. I am just the smaller version of you. :-P I'm on vid fixing belts on the side of the road within the last couple of years, but I generally try to stay off of the camera. I've got a face for radio. You're pretty much spot on about me 4-5 years ago. I cut the hair off because it got thin and I didn't like it looking like a comb over when in a ponytail. Here's me on vid from that time so you can compare to your original idea. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VkNHOAOyK8 What about new gear, do you have replacement? I have a helmet that I bought early this year. HJC FG-17 that I found on clearance for $100, though I did have to settle for silver to get that price. I couldn't get a GoPro to stay on it because of the design up front, but if I can get that straight I have a helmet. Gloves are literally not scratched. Clearly no catching myself. Jacket is done. It's ripped wide open in the back. Wore the same old Joe Rocket jacket for 10 years even after a crash 9 years ago and finally got this new one last year so of course I tore it up. Hmmm. So I crash about a year after I get a new jacket it seems. Maybe I better look for used. Footwear was just sneakers and I had other shoes. I have riding boots, I just hate the big clunky things. Wanna get some armored pants. I bought one pair last year and they fit weird and were uncomfortable so I returned them. I think that's something I will have to find a store for or end up doing lots of returns. P.s. If a woman named Tammy on a red taotao with whitewalls starts stalking you? I dont know squat.lol. Don't worry, I ride a 2T. If I don't wanna be stalked, she'll only catch up if (when) I break down. lol Here are the vids mentioned for anyone interested. A lot of the first 2 vids is already covered if you follow the thread, but I wanted to get it out there for the people on YouTube that aren't on the forum at least. I haven't talked about the scoot stuff before the damage vid though. Watched your update vids as i layed in bed sick all day yesterday. Thanks for the updates brother! Keep up the healing and keep us all posted. Glad you made it out there to check out the damages. Also glad its not any worse! I would have bet one of both rads would be hit. Pipe scraped and or dented, etc. Sorry you got banged up worse than the scoot, but at least your both not totaled :/
