Had a meeting today about the way ahead with the puppets and made good progress. Jane the script writer is doing a pre sequel and a sequel to Jessica and publishing some kids books when done as well on the story about Jessica. I then went to the auction house to help a chap there try and sort out a day a month there helping people with mental health problems run by those who have overcome their angst in various ways so they can lead a more normal life as possible as mental health is on a very low rung of the ladder for help in this country. Whilst there I put a bid on a trailer that came in for puppet stuff being as mine needs work in the near future.

Nice trailer, but just for your information, from personal experience I will tell you trailers with angle iron on the sides have very high aerodynamic drag and are difficult to tow at high speed even with larger American vehicle engines. My 4L ford ranger struggled to make 50MPH while a 460 cubic inch engine in a large bus would tow the same trailer easy. The bus also allowed the trailer to tuck into the wind 'shadow' behind it. The trailer I was using had a 6'wide x 8'long open box 4' high.
You should be able to mount a spare tire on the front of that trailer using long carriage bolts and a good lock. Horrible Freight has nice trailer tongue jacks.

About Jessicas' refined refined video. Fantastic Dude and Dudette! It does not show on utube as able to 'cast' onto my tele. There is a difference between UK video/tv and US. Surely there are solutions. Know of any?

Those two angle iron uprights in front and back of the fenders on the side are what increases the drag along with front area,etc. The trailer I used had three on each side. If I remember right drag increases with the square of velocity, but don't quote me. I suppose a nice angled wood upright in front and behind each angle iron might help smooth the airflow. A 2x4 ripped at a 45° angle might help. If it was my trailer I would try it after my experience with pulling that other one. For trailer towing there is no replacement for engine displacement. -LOL
I also might reposition the rear lights to right behind the fenders so I could use the trailer without the rear gate for hauling longer loads. There may be different legal requirements to be met in the UK.
That gap between the top board and the rest of the side is a nice touch for tying loads down.

FrankenMech and jackrides the speed limits in urban area's or most in Wales are being reduced from 30mph to 20mph in September so speed won't be an issue. But anyhow I now have a mussle car a big increase from 1240cc to 1600cc of throbbing naturally aspirated automatic transmission of power so I shall be mainly doing burnouts and other stuff unless Yolanda is in the car.
