1600cc, hmmmm, my old VW had 1600cc and would do burnouts, 180's, 360's, but it wasn't entirely stock either, -mostly un-stock. I didn't pull any trailers with it LOL

Today the first show one crew member couldn't make it and another disappeared before the start. Still her mum jumped into her part and another one helped out luckily.

Moving on after a winters break with all of us. Robyn has left to work full time in Costa Coffee not found any crew locally so may need put out an advert. I presume I am not allowed to put " no f**k nuggets need apply" in this day and age. In the meantime I picked up a tricycle, electric one today from friend's Mel and Magnus for a mobile pop up puppet booth all to be arranged. It's in the head and the making and we started talking about festivals and events and how they never pays band's much in this country and how Europe use pay better as he plays in a band lead guitar and she also has her own band which he plays in also. He said as a lead guitar player in the band he plays with he gets £1000 for a 45 minutes to 1 hour set. Don't think I can ask that lol. On another note whilst I was chatting the lad who came to help me might be up for puppets and actually loaded the bike without waiting for help or instruction as needed taking down steps and quite heavy with SLA battery pack in it.

Today after sorting boys scooter out I started on my first re-string of a puppet or start of still have arms and legs to sort. Pelham puppet looks easier but we will see when I get to it. This Czechoslovakian one, I think it is not sure of make as no name on it looked a bit daunting with that controller.

Definitely FrankenMech, just got back from another funeral when some Muppet decided to light a joint of weed for what reason fekk knows just a few inches from the exit door with everyone coming out. On way home saw crashed car on same road as last one, checked in and around it but no one there. After turning round was 3 cars stopped by it and lady picking something up from car so presumably they something to do with it didn't have the look or furtive actions of dodgy people.
I tried puppet tonight before bed. Yolanda said don't you are tired. Done 2 strings great then tested it. Snap went one. Quiet cursing and gently put puppet down and bed me thinks before tantrum.

Show at school went well this afternoon kids loved Chestnut the horse when he farted at the headmaster. After the show we took the puppets on walkabout but son Owen only got a couple of feet and no more as he was mobbed by the 4,5,6 and 7 year olds. I had no problems with Jessica got to the back of the room to the older ones. Poor old Owen I collared him last night to help me today when he went to stay at his brother's, he was hung over this afternoon after downing 8 pints last night . More pics to follow when school sends them over.

hey just wanted to pop in here and say a few things. its always good to pursue things that make you happy especially if it brings others joy too. i created a business for myself doing that very thing. i couldnt afford current gemstone prices but i love gemstones so i got crafty and its cheap to mine them for the day at a fee mining site. 100 dollars or less at most us based fee mines for a day. and some one piece of material can be 5,000-10,000 dollars for some gems. everyone always has some reason why they cant do something it its too far away but sometimes its easier than it sounds.
after i got my business thing rolling i was out making things in my workshop and found my creative spark and started making little scrap metal art things. their cutesy their lewd their goofy and people absolutely love them. one of them is this little bolt dog and i made him peeing on a tree. my moms friend fell in love with it its her most prized possession. will i make a ton of money off the goofy stuff i make or find nah but i will make people happy and live stress free compared to working a dead end job. retiring at 33 was the best life choice ive made. after almost a year of it im still here and never going back.

Yes doing things to make me and others happy by taking time out of the rat race is good. Hopefully your business prospers. Like you it will never make me rich but who cares I don't 😊

Yesterday was over a friend's for lunch and met up with a young Ukrainian refugee couple he took in. After a conversation by translation on phones and their limited English I asked if they would be interested in doing puppets so I now have 2 new puppeteers and we are going to use a few Ukrainian folk stories as well at Brecon Cathedral. His partner makes a beautiful honey cake to 😍
