Picked up a NOS ramp plate. Read that the one for the PA50I is part of the stuff that limits it. Old packaging is great !

I bet the new handlebars add a 1/2 horsepower alone... lol serious though, what cylinder did you go with? why did you choose the side bleed pipe? I've heard good things about them but I've never physically seen one on a scooter or moped. the biggest benefit being theyre quieter than the rear bleed chambers. I have even thought about getting the mlm side bleed add on pipe for 50$ and modifying a rear bleed chamber. especially when treats has a sale. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I would like to hear your review on it once you get it all together. I have a 1980 express all original with only 900 miles. the hobbit/ camino cylinders and pipes fit on the nc50 with little modification. maybe someday ill mod it out. its diffidently my slowest pony in the stable. cool build though. hurry up and get it done! and keep telling us about it. we want more!

New to the 2T world. The Hobbit is an interesting design w/ the variator and clutch in a single unit.
Did a bit of research on the pipes and the side bleed seem to give reasonable performance. I didn't want one with a large expansion chamber making it load. The Yoshi's on my 4Ts are lo\oud but not annoying. The PA50I is the most restrictive, stock limiting to 20MPH. I don't think the MLM pipe will fit the stock PA50I head w/o some mods.
Grabbed a 70cc DR Racing cylinder. It's cast and seemed to be the most forgiving.
Will see where this goes. And the bars do add 1/2 HP.
And I also need to finish Q*bert.

Looks salvageable. Roller stuck. I’ll take measurements and weights later. 35 mm socket needed for removal.

Im pretty sure they make a performance reed set for them. I thought it was more like an express transmission. it actually isn't even close. good documentation btw. many have torn into them. while most have not made this info public like you have. thank you for taking the time! is the gear set/ transmission in a completely sepperate case? is this model multiple speed?
