Guess my beer tastes are are old fashioned and dull, as I prefer an ice cold Budweiser.
I do, however, make a single batch of home made liquor every year for gifts, and I keep a sizeable amount to drink. Last years batch was a blend of certain "herbs", corn whiskey, banana, and PawPaw fruit. Stupid delicious. Some of my family drive in from out of state every year, just to get the gift, because no way am I shipping the stuff....

fuzzyruttinIt does have some different aromas compared the the original, you can smell the ipa, flavor there are some citrus notes that the original doesn’t have. It’s still a very easy one to drink.

Beer Tree is a great micro. Picked up the Animal Style tonight, "only" 6.5%. Their other New England IPA was 8.something, yup kicked my ass. It's cold and windy and pretty shitty tonight, wood fire shines through Animal Style

My beer seems to have a chaser anymore... I’m just on a whiskey and bourbon kick lately.

I love when I go out with my “Miller” crowd and get some neat whiskey, they look at me like I’m crazy. I’d be crazy if I was drinking that miller. Sorry, not sorry. I have my ways of what I like and won’t settle for cheap beer or whiskey. Whiskey now is along ways from my teen Jack Daniels days.

Savor that stuff... PA wine and spirits stores are closed so we are stuck to beer or grocery store wine for the time being. Good thing I’ve got a few bottles to hold me over.

New York State has declared liquor stores "essential," so those two big bottles were bought in vain... or not haha! I didn't actually go to a liquor store again but was curious enough to google it, because I saw that one of my favorite craft beer store's neon "open" sign was lit up. Moral: New Yorkers will be tweaked out and rioting if you take their booze away!

Currently it's a mix of Stolen brand dark rum with Kahlua and cola (don't knock it till you try it ha) But soon it'll be whatever I make up! Been running neutral spirit so far, but have molasses rum and corn whisky fermenting away now. *I'm in NZ, it's 100% legal here as long as I don't sell any.
