Everyone enjoys a good drink from time to time, others more often... What do you enjoy? My usual go to is Troegs Perpetual, but to be honest I enjoy at least 75% of the Troegs products. My other favorites are Dogfish Head of Delaware and Aligash of Maine. Tonight I’m enjoying some winter leftovers of Troegs Mad elf, 11% of its finest.

Mostly German Bier (beer) in general. In my area, there are over 800 traditional breweries.... So lots of trying possible

Great, I'm gonna be on this thread all the time. Exploring the world of beer is such great fun! Turns out I had some company yesterday and got some fresh suds. Nothing too heavy this time. Tröegs is definitely one my favorite breweries as well. First here, Nugget Nectar. Doesn't take any more explaining, just a good pop. Hershey PA. Mill House Brewing Company (MHBC) Köld One. Discovered this last Summer. This is an awesome, crisp, cool beer for the hot summer days. Poughkeepsie NY. Schöfferhofer Heffeweizen Grapefruit Bier. I generally do not like fruit in beer, but a little grapefruit or orange is okay sometimes. No shandy's, please, that's over the top. This is a refreshing bier. Imported from Germany. Utica Club. It's local. It's cheap. It's light. It's like a piece of history with every chug! Utica NY.

A quick google search says there are 7,000 operating breweries in the U.S. You must be laying claim to a pretty big area!

I am at universal studios in Florida this week and to day I got to try a Duff pilsner and a Duff red ale in Simpsons land. I tried a wizards ale over in Harry Potter world, along with a non alcoholic butter beer. Tomorrow Its flaming Moe's, at Moe's!
All the beer is made by Florida brewing Co. I'll try and get some pics.

Geoff You can find anything from 3.5abv up to 18abv or more. Everyone is trying to start a brewery nowadays. Some are good, some not so good. More time spent on the brew and less on the artwork could be beneficial for some.

A quick google search says there are 7,000 operating breweries in the U.S. You must be laying claim to a pretty big area! Must be a different Google. Mine says 6.300 breweries in the US. Nevertheless, my "area" I mentioned before is commonly known for it´s breweries since 700 years. My "area" is called "Franken" and is about 23.000km². So basically it´s pretty small compared to the US or so. Even compared to the rest of good ole Germany. And before one might ask, no. No, we don´t drink always beer, we don´t eat every day Schnitzel and Brezeln and Volkswagen is not the capital of germany. Also Hitler is NOT our cancellor, king, supreme leader or anything else anymore. That was some small facts about Germany. Home of the best beers and best looking girls all over the world! Greetings p.s. My wife is greek.... p.p.s. Another funny fact: In my shop we always have cases of german brewed Beer, one 500ml bottle cost 32 eurocent which is 36c in the US. That means, that beer actually is cheaper than bottled water here.

It does not mean, that it is brewed with grapefruit. These beer and lemonade mixes here are called "Radler", which means when you ride on a bicycle to a beer garden, it´s better to drink Radler instead of beer, due to lower alcohol content. Over here it´s the drink for young girls or pregnant women (no joke). Conclusion: It´s not to offend you, don´t get me wrong

A buddy of mine was at the Coors taproom in Golden CO. The US doesn't have a purity law like Germany so they can and do put a lot of things in their beer. Coors changes it's recipie every now and then as customers taste changes. Coors now tastes like water because that's what sells. Anyway he said they had some of a beer made with the 1920's Coors recipie on tap and he said it was friggin amazing. The most un-coors beer is actually Coors.

My bottles are all plastic and filled with water... or maybe water with lemonade mix or something like that. I'll be 40 this year and if I had to guess I'd say I may have drank 3-4 12 packs worth of beer in my entire life. I don't get it. It tastes like horse piss to me. I'll have someone tell me that I just haven't found the right beer. Then they'll get me to try the beer that's not like all other beers... and it tastes like horse piss too. Maybe that horse ate something different, but still not something I wanna consume. When I did drink occasionally from peer pressure long ago, it was mostly liquor.
The closest thing that I drank to beer with any regularity was prob Mike's Hard Lemonade... but regular lemonade tastes way better and I have no desire to be intoxicated to any degree. I have bad enough ideas when I'm totally sober. The only buzz I'm into comes from a two-stroke.
