does she like them? I saw a red one blow by my house twice on Saturday. It looked and sounded really sweet. Kinda like an old indian type scooter. I'll check out goosey

Naw....can't relate to the retros. Never have, and perhaps never will. Perhaps I am way older than you. Scoots and even new Hondas looked like that when I was a kid. I wanted a honda cub really bad when i was a kid. The 305 dream got me going too, and the honda joker was the best scoot when it came out:

Ah, now your talking Those all appeal to me. I road on the back of a 1957 Knucklehead for a few years. I very much admired the work the guys put into restoring and keeping their old Harleys going. The retros I have are cloned after the Joker. The one in the link has some body modifications that are fairly recent. They added blinkers to the front fairing, that's ok if you like the look, the plastic handlebar mounted ones get wacked easy. They also hightened the back fairing, which is a good thing if you want to change the exhaust to anything stainless and shiny.

Ironically, I actually dig the underbone/stepthrough style bikes like the Honda 50 Cub and the more traditional looking Honda Sport 50 (both of which you have there). But I wouldn't classify those as scooters. What I don't dig is the Vespa-style scoots. I just can't appreciate them, not sure why. In fact it's rather odd because I'm really into stuff from the 60s...from music, to cars, to clothes! But I'm actually 34 so I'm not that young.

I also really like the old honda trail 90s - they have a step through frame too.

I like curves rather than angles. Hugh, funny, all my furniture is mission type, angles. I like the look of the Sport 50. Curves and chrome, but only just enough chrome.

I like my women curvy, my vehicles angular. I like both BIG! LOL! Anwyay, I digress. My dad's first vehicle was a Honda Sport 50. He got rid of it long before I was even thought of so I don't know anything about it, but I still dig them.

That looks like a Lance Cali(?) a scooter shop was trying to sell my Wife. I was totally surprised at the finish on it. Like a Japanese motorcycle !

How about these, Tango : Coolest scoot, ever: S m o o o o o o t h h h h h .... Really though, I had a Stella fr a while, it was very, very fun. I got waaaay more attention and than any Harley or squidthruster. Everyone loved it. It was a blast to ride, too . . .4sp and clutch on the left grip. Some fun taking it off the stand and bumping it in gear, accidentally !! :stars: I have a Burgman 400 currently along with my Eton. The 400 rips but its sort of bland. Like the mini-van of scooters. The little Eton is the most fun Ive had in years. Only 50cc. Go figure Like wimmins and booze, its all good !
