Nice Buick in Bridgenorth steam railway yard at work today but why do they put the steering wheel on the wrong side, will they never learn.
Oh and trains.

Hang on I just looked at the steering wheel and it is on the proper side for a change.

I must say, we have the worst looking trains. Used to be things of beauty, and function. Now just look like carriages.

I like trains, they are still one of the most efficient ways to transport goods.

Big steam engines are always interesting. We have "Big Boy" coming to town soon. I am hoping to see/feel it running some place. They don't let people get close enough to visually sort out the nuts and bolts when they stop.

The chest pounding vibrations when they run are great as well as feeling the earth move. Diesel electrics are very impressive too but not like steam.

My mother used to freak when we traveled by train as a kid. I liked to stand within a couple feet of the edge of the platform when the train arrived.

I don't see how anyone gets hit by one on the tracks. You can feel them a mile away, and even farther when you touch a rail.

All of your steering wheels are on the wrong side in the UK. People must not have ever given up jousting.
