does a contra spring produce a powerband effect on the scooter? my riding bud has a rucks, needless to say its pretty slow but he was all excited and bought the yellow contra spring bc he thought it was going to make it way faster, so after he had it installed i rode the scoot and it has kinda a "powerband" now. imagine in a stick shift slipping the clutch untill the right time then letting it grip and you take off real nice. it feels like that a bit, like a stall convertor or something... ? also, on my carb, i got my 85 jet today and it works awsome, just need to slightly bore it out but.... there is supposed to be A LITTLE CLIP I CAN MOVE DOWNWARD ONE NOTCH TO MAKE THE MIXTURE MORE RICH. where is this clip? ? when i pull the bowl off on the carb i just have that stick that lets fuel overflow out of the drain hose, the jet right in the middle, the float and the stuff asscoiated with that, and some other small tidbits. i cant seem to find this pin with the "clip" though??? one other small thing, does anyone know of a walkthrough for installing clutch springs? thanks alot brandon p
