I wish they would list the weight of those wheels. I’m a little tempted myself!

My prebug was 15 spline if remember right. Same as my jog. But it was an old one, an '88

Nice find. It makes sense if you can move all the good stuff over to a better chassis.

Getting there. I still to sort some wiring like relocating all the stuff that used to reside in the headset, and a few other details. Then a trailtech vapor or something similar, a better rear shock, and maybe a sidestand.

Really nice, has come along way! Is the bike in the house in that picture? You lucky person 😂 Yea. The old lady is cool with my shenanigans now. Everything has either been thoroughly cleaned or is new, and no fluids in the house. I see you have a prebug thread going on too, I'm going to check it out now.

So today I learned I still have a lot to learn. I installed and dialed in my trailtech vapor and learned my bike was running incredibly hot, topping out after wot runs at 420F... Yikes... I thought I had this all figured out tuning by "ear" and by "feel".. Pshh I know nothing, I'm humbled and couldn't be more thrilled about it.. I'm surprised this thing never seized, the fact it could stand up to my lack of tuning abilities and still run is a testament to the quality of this cylinder. I went from a 100 mj, which I thought was the sweet spot, all the way up to a 118 before Temps were kept in check on long wot pulls, and now she runs waaaaaay better. Just want to say I'm happy to be a part of this community of skilled and knowledgeable people I guess. Thanks yall. I'm glad I learned this lesson now before I toasted a hyper race setup and ended up bankrupt. Anyways here's a view from the cockpit, more pics and details coming soon.

Love those brake levers, been looking for something for mine but being cable operated front and back I can’t find much to fit the front brake. Sounds like your having fun! They make for a very fun ride Being so small with added power
I look forward to those beauty shots !

Update. I heard a noise coming from the rear wheel, a growling noise, I figured I would get to it later but I went for a ride and this happened The bolts backed out and all the gear oil leaked out and made a mess. Chewed up the gear cover and the primaries oh well. New gear cover, gears and bearings on order.
