My setup as it sits now: Polini corsa 70cc bbk Polini for race 4 pipe (thanks PIG ) Doppler S1R crank (10mm) Malossi OR Stage 6 intake manifold Dellorto 21 (stage 6 version) UNI pod filter Bando coil w/ ngk cr2 lead Stock gearing My plans: 1)do some carb tuning my cvt feels great as it is with 5g weights and a malossi yellow contra. The jetting on the carb actually feels good as it came out of the box but I have mains to play with (90-99). Idle is great, then I'll dial in the main, and then do the pilot. This is my first venture with dellorto phbg I'm used to using pwk/ oko so there will be a learning curve. 2) a matching bopper for the front is on order to replace the rotting reggae. 3) add a little farkle with a little chrome accents on the engine [/url] 4) paint the wheels so they match, still thinking of a color (your input is welcome) 5) maybe do a front disk and naked bar setup with 12in wheels later down the road,

Can you plz take a picture straight from the rear? I would like to see how close the pipe sits to the rear wheel.
Thx

Here you go tsimi. For reference it's a 130/90-10 size tire, and I installed the pipe without spacers or any other modifications.

Did a little tuning, I put a 99 mj and it feels a little rich but good. I took it for a few laps around town and my plug looks like this What do you all think of that? I may go to a 97 or 98, I still need to order a set of pilot jets too. Also I edited my previous posts, it's a dell 21 not a 19.

Looks rich but rich is safer than lean, are you running a temp and rev gauge or tuning by "ear".

I'm just tuning by ear and feel. Using the choke as a guide when I'm tuning for a particular throttle position. Since this is my first go with a Dell I'm going to order a temp Guage come friday/ payday to end all the guess work and do it right.

Do folks not like the corsa? Me personally, I'm an advocate of the corsa! Some here may feel it's overrated as a cylinder... At least that appears to be the consensus around here.

Thanks! When I’m ready to get a 70 kit, I was considering the corsa or the malossi cast: sorry to hijack!

I’m a firm believer in Corsa. But mostly on a Honda platform. I think there seeing better results than us horizontal / Vertical minarelli guys....

do you go off road with it? im asking because I see the big tires. if you don't go off road, that bike might be more fun/fast on 3.00 x 10 tires.

the Corsa is the bore of choice in the Honda platform here on Oahu. Those bikes are pretty damn fast. they even run Corsas with ministroker cranks. I'm so impressed/baffled with the Honda Corsa combo, that I just bought me a used SYM dd50 engine so that I can rebuild it for a Corsa. I don't even have a bike for the engine yet. I just want to see what makes the Hondas here on Oahu so fast.

I have a corsa on my honda and it rips hard, it's been going strong for almost 20,000 miles over the past 5 or so years. How great it does on my honda is why I got it for this platform to see if it's anywhere nearly as potent. Also smaller wheels on this thing would kill my top speed and I would probably loop this thing off the line everytime.
