Not my garden but on business travel now. Just found this gem of a walkway, about 1/2 mile walk from the hotel to the plaza. Dang it I've been here for a week and just discovered this?? Crap ah well. Next time.

Again not "my garden" although I am back home. Got a late season heavy snow today. Thing is, everything is in full bloom. These are cherry blossoms not snow. Well, there might be snow on them, but all the white is mostly cherry blossoms. Was at the hardware store picking up supplies and just had to stop to take a pic.

We have colour coming at last in the garden and lots of apple blossom, hopefully it won't get killed off by the frost.

Still waiting for the Black Eldeberry to expand and provide natural privacy on my porch. Prob 2 additional years growth since I got it. One of my faves.

Today in a friend's garden they unsure of the flowers on the bushes as use to be his wife's grandparents garden. The last one I spotted was a red elderflower blossom which I had not seen before, all around this area is white blossoms. Is this the same as what's in your pic you called black elderflower fuzzyruttin ?

The plant looks very similar from afar, but to take shots of the flowers like that would require a macro lens on mine. So, close cousin maybe - certainly no positive ID.

What's wrong with that Geoff? It looks lovely. All that's missing is a table and chairs and a nice (adult)beverage.
