I had a sore spot on my arm for a couple of days from the second Pfizer jab. If you exercise, that generally will not happen. |

 What is exercise, is it some way to get extra fries at McDonalds? I am 67 with both shoulders ripped out from a truck accident when I was 20 years old. My shoulders barely move. PT and going to the gym has been useless. My shoulders are gone. Dr Frankenstein says he has no more shoulder parts.

I just got an email that I was eligible for a Moderna vaccine on April 1st. The only thing that being fat has done good for me is apparently it makes me eligible for phase 2B instead of phase 3 that starts here April 27. If all goes well, that should have me fully vaccinated by mid May. Fingers crossed.
My parents both got their 2nd doses this morning.

I’ve been hearing of an amazing amount of people that got vaccinated and then infected immediately after. I didn’t think I would hear of it nearly as much as I do. It’s kind of strange. On a positive note, that scenario happened to an entire family of four I encountered where the parents had been vaccinated and the two children hadn’t. The children got pretty sick (but were fine in the end) and the adults tested positive for currently being infected, but both showed no symptoms. The children both being sick, makes slightly more sense. Even though children don’t typically get super sick from the virus, sometimes they do get sick and these children were much, much closer in genetic makeup than the parents (hopefully). However, the parents are (or should be) much different in their genetic makeup, yet still, neither showed any symptoms while the virus was active in their bodies. Interesting...and obviously very anecdotal. They both had the Pfizer vaccine as far as I know. On a side note, I’ve been informed I’m a “vacshole”. Hahaha Someone saw the background image on my phone and informed me. I just turned and gave them a glare and said “yeahh”. They couldn’t see the smirk, because mask. I can’t see why my background image would give that impression...  |

If you or others are infected when you get the vaccine about all the vaccine may do is make it less severe for you. There are a lot of 'scare' stories and hype going around. The vaccine card is too big to carry around. I think I am going to cut off the 'other' section and have mine laminated otherwise it is going to fall apart. They can give me another one if they vaccinate me with 'other'... Maybe it will be a genetic modifier hallucinogenic Zombie drug with chip trackers and mind controllers   |

Which vaccine are you referring to? No conclusive studies have been published that I can dig up. Can you link one? I would think that getting vaccinated while being actively infected would be a bad thing. A vaccination is not fast acting and actually weakens your immune system temporarily. Interesting that this vaccine would actually lessen symptoms in this scenario. |

Over here in blighty were cracking on at a fine pace,my vaccine card is exactly bank card size and just gets to travel with the other cards.

I haven't heard of anyone getting it right after being vaccinated. A lot of people are getting symptoms for up to 48 hours afterwards. That is not catching covid though, as it will take usually 7 to 14 days to show symptoms after catching it.

The cards here in the US are 75 x 100mm and won't fit anywhere. The only info on mine is name of the vaccine, lot number, and date, on stickers. There are the obligatory Spanish translations and government logo crap. |

There,s all sorts of jibber jabber in the media a lot of hot air from people who can "work" from home the privilaged few who seem remote from us who have to put our boots on and actually move something.vaccine passports,civil liberty infractions don't,t really cross my mind but here in England lockdown is ending on Monday so we will be back to traffic jams and road rage.(rant over)  Geoff |

Let us know how ending lockdown in the UK works for you. There are lots of business interests pushing for it here in the US also. The business interests don't care about safety, only money. Greed is why we didn't follow pandemic shutdowns of airlines with quarantines etc. here in the US, they wanted MONEY MONEY MONEY!!

As far as current research suggests, that statement would be incorrect. Being vaccinated while infected, would be a bad thing and should be avoided. We need good information being circulated right now. Anecdotal evidence being propagated as more than that, should be avoided. If you are currently infected with the coronavirus, DO NOT GET VACCINATED.
