aeroxbud I have a question for you so I sent a PM. I have had many vaccinations so I don't expect this one to be any worse. I have had all my childhood shots from back before fire as well as tetanus, pneumonia, flu, and shingles. The sore arm is kind of a given, and they only take a moment. The paperwork takes the longest.

I received my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on 12/30 and my second on 1/20. No side effects or symptoms others than a sore arm after the first shot.
I cannot believe the disaster this vaccine rollout has been. Absolute disaster. Our hospital has the capacity to vaccine 24,000 people a DAY and last week they did 1,000 for the WEEK.

Wow! I thought this thread died months and months ago. I finally figured out which thread that was that I accidentally unsubscribed from hahaha...
I think it’s important for people to understand how not new these styles vaccines are. I’m speaking specifically about the Pfizer and Moderna units.
Just because something hasn’t been approved by the FDA, doesn’t mean data of great significance doesn’t exist for it.
Both vaccines produced by these companies are RNA based vaccines. RNA vaccines have been around for a long time, have been used on hundreds of thousands of people, and have never produced a negative side effect because of the RNA or parts in common with these vaccines. They’ve been used in clinical trials and “off-label” markets and are considered very low-risk.
That combined with the fact that the sample size for certain parts of clinical trials was literally the entire world or while countries. We had lot of data to accelerate research. Literally more than ever in history. Not to mention all of the smartest people, richest companies, and every single world government investing any available resources into finding a cure.

I can't complain over here. The vaccine rollout has been very good. Where I live, local doctors are doing shots. We also have a special 24 hours unit, doing 1,000 inoculation a day.

It is. People just can't not socialise, and put their lives at risk.

I just got the pfizer jab a couple hours ago. They did have someone watching over us in the waiting area after the shot. Getting through the 'labyrinth' to get the shots was jacked up. No sign of a 'blue' jab I keep clicking the TV remote and hoping.
Socializing and doing bad things, making apple jack, and getting thrown out of the garden is how we (tribal leaders) got the idea of invisible Gods watching us and religion was born...

So I,m waiting for my 2nd shot of Pfizer and feeling much safer now,in the UK (England) we have just reached a point of having half the adult population "jabbed" . I hope that soon that the managers of this effort get the rewards they deserve.

Geoff I just received my letter saying I can go out from 1st April, and stop shielding. 👍 Will be able to ride again. 😁 Poland and France have just gone into a lockdown again. 😞

I should get my second jab today. It won't make much difference for masks and distancing for a long time yet. the jab is still only partially effective so getting sick is always a worry but maybe not dying of the crap. I am still screwed in lots of other ways.
No sign of the relief check yet. Still flat broke. My income won't meet the bills.

Got my first Pfizer yesterday. 30 mins total including the 15 mins waiting to leave.
Exactly as dramatic as getting the flu shot every year, which is to say I barely felt the needle go in. Sore if I press on it, but Duh! I got an intramuscular injection.
Have an appointment for my second on the April 9th.

Just as an FYI, I have an email composed by a smart person that outlines the progression of the Pfizer/Moderna vaccine and why it’s most likely safe.
If anyone is interested, PM me your email.

I have had two Pfizer shots with zero side effects, not even arm pain. I may still get sick but I won't die or have serious complications.

I had a sore spot on my arm for a couple of days from the second Pfizer jab.
