My Moderna booster is scheduled for tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it. Too many breakthrough cases. Got my flu shot 2-3 weeks ago too. Now if they could make a cold vaccine...
My parents went to my 2nd cousin's funeral today. I couldn't pick him out of a line up anymore TBH, but he got COVID and ended up on a ventilator before dying (49 years old). He got 1 dose of a 2 dose vaccine. Not a real believer in COVID as I understand it.

Sorry, I bet your cousin believed in the Covid near the end.
I got my flu shot and Pfizer booster several weeks ago. I am a real believer in vaccines after what happened to me.

Sorry to hear about that Brent. I went to pay a visit to the chap I use to care for today in England where you can go to a walk in centre for the booster or even there local chemist is doing it. Back here in Wales I awaiting my Pfizer booster but they just stopped the walk in place so got to find out how to go about it in the morning.

I had to make an appointment at my pharmacy to get a booster. When in the doctor's office later they offered me a higher strength booster for old sick people. I had other tests done and they seemed to forget about the high strength booster. I see many pharmacies around are offering walk-in booster shots, just not mine.

I had to make an appointment at Walgreens. Took about a week to get a morning appointment, about 30 minutes waiting for the pharmacist and 2 minutes to get the shot. Sitting here waiting for my parents that got appointments after me.

It is kind of a strange situation for pharmacists to be giving vaccinations now. In the past that has been a job for doctors and nurses. It was strange for me to give shots to my ex while she was taking chemo. I had zero experience giving shots except to animals. Now I have to give insulin shots to myself every day. I still don't like needles...

Don't like injections and never liked giving them when I was nursing.

Just be healthy. I’ve never been vaccinated, neutered or processed any other way. I am very much a scientific person, grew up with nature and went thru school to get a BS in aquatic/marine biology. My best advice is to live your best life. Fuck the news, and especially FUCK all social media. People are scared sick, literally thinking of themselves sick. Fuck that. Like I said I won’t GET any shots, and have been working hand in hand with people since this shit started. NO PROBLEMS. maybe it’s because I drink a lot of beer and eat ALOT of spicy foods.
YOU ARE HEALTHY PEOPLE, turn off the phone/tv/radio step out and smell the flowers

I very rarely watch the idiot lantern (TV) unless they do a re run of Top Cat Sgt Bilko or Kojak and Dr Who which don't happen unless you have a million channels to flick through.

My TV only comes on for an occasional American football game off the air, no cable. The adverts cause extreme nausea.
I do stream movies and TV on the computer with Amazon Prime and Britbox.
I think Dr Who is on Britbox.
