Hmmmm, maybe a riding lawnmower with a compressor instead of a mower deck. Kind of like a heavy duty mobility scooter.

I got a message from my boss to say she had just tested positive. I was in her company for about an hour Tuesday afternoon Done my test and clear of covid thankfully. Its a strange virus Covid 19... heres a couple of my observations. one of my neighbours wife caught covid, she was laid up in bed poorly for a week while her husband waited on her hand and foot, and even slept in the same bed as her, but he never caught it himself. One of my friends went to a concert to see a band called marillion, he caught Covid and was poorly for a few days, after 10 days he tested negative for covid and was back out and about, his wife slept in the same bed as him also but never caught it. I work for an American owned company (Tenneco) in a large factory making valve seats for the automotive industry, I worked all through the pandemic, (wearing face masks is mandatory in the factory) and many of my colleagues went down with covid, some i was speaking to the next day they phoned in with the news they had tested positive. one colleague was feeling poorly and still continued coming into work for 2 days, thought he just had a cold, he tested positive, I was speaking with him before hand too. But so far i havent contracted Covid my self....

It can also take days before a positive test registers after exposure. People with extra heavy nose hair may filter it all out... LOL

so by utilizing a full face snorkel mask, they are less than a $100. current examples of printed adapters for filters. in terms of the Mahi'ole look, this is the type of mahi'ole i was thinking of. but each mushroom top would be a P100 hepa filter. breathing through 2 p100's on a half mask with exhale valve can be strenuous as is. i would use at least 4 p100's if there was no free flowing exhaust valve, to make it easier to breathe in and out of a hepa filter system.

I like the purple 'Martian' look. I never had any difficulty breathing through the two chemical organic vapor filters on my old mask but then I was not breathing out through a filter, only a valve. What about putting the filters where the valve is and plugging the top port? It would be advantageous for vision clarity to breathe IN through the top port and OUT through the valve port. These poorly fitting disposable masks always fog my glasses. Getting a mask to fit around the glasses is difficult. The people in the safety dept night shift kept my mask in top shape. It was always up to date on filters and ready to go. I always wore it when working with the monomer. I did not get any skin protection since it went through any protective hazmat suit in a couple minutes max. It went through the best gloves we could find in 12-15 minutes. One man died when a partial droplet contacted his skin through his clothing. It took less than three minutes to kill him. Not a chance in hell to help him. It was very dangerous work. It is kind of a miracle I am still alive and not riddled with cancer. I am probably the only project member left alive since I was the youngest.
There is a mobile safety truck with mask fitting equipment not far from me. Maybe I can pay them a visit.

So, yup, went to Disneyworld, still here actually and what I’m guessing was omicron got me. Took me out for 2.5 days. It was like a really, really bad cold with a nasty headache, sore throat. KN95 mask and all.
I took a antigen test and it was negative, but I’m hearing those tests aren’t sensitive enough to work all the time with omicron. Plus these ones are almost expired.
So if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it’s a duck.
Got through it, tho.

So many colds and flu any his season. My sister in law had cold/flu like symptoms. Did three lateral flow tests. All come out negative. But the PCR test came back positive.

Yeah, I’d say it was a cold except for the brain splitting headache, achy-ness, and I got a rash on my elbow and wrist. The headache was one of those that made me dizzy.
Only lasted a few days though. Then went away. A cold usually hangs on longer, for me anyways.
