Farmers not planting sounds foolhardy when food will be highly valuable this summer. If I remember right that sounds like 'cutting off your nose to spite your face' or some such idiocy Farmers around here are planting. There is no vaccine for this virus, therefore no herd immunity. At the moment it seems there is no immunity even when people get the disease. This is a strange outbreak. BTW, Anyone hoping for a quick vaccine to cure us all should remember there is no vaccine yet for HIV, EBOLA, or many other viruses even though there is $$$$$ research going into them all the time. Things are looking better for a possible EBOLA vaccine... -Maybe...
Very interesting, just because your concerned about being alive or not. Should not have any bearing on weather you work your land. If your gone and you worked the land others survive. If you survive we all starve. How are you doing Franken? I hope all are safe!!!!! John

mine are individually wrapped and when opened the package is resealable with a zip lock as part of the packaging. There seems to be a shortage, I utilized the same supply chain for parts to get the mask. I ordered for family and medical personal connected to me. I have some excess and passing it along I'm clearing pennies above cost and fees. John

Shopping for my mum today and bumped into daughter and granddaughter both upset because they cannot give dad/granddad a hug. For a three and half yr old Alicia understands distancing far more than a lot of adults I see. I did get her a couple of her favourite comics when I saw her in the co op so that made her day and she said put them in mummy's bag and she can put anti ( antiseptic spray ) on them when we get home just incase.

Hi all, after the email from my CEO nothing at all,I had the time to dig through the company report, poor chap has to struggle through all this sh..t on £440,000 per annum!! Must be tough at the top.Good news today I have been placed on furlough till June (my gov is paying me to stay home)bad news was that payroll made an "error" and instead of using my holiday pay they just put me down as "sick pay" so the bank balance has taken a major dive,I have scraped through on the overdraft and will be OK I have little hope of sorting the "he said they said" stuff so I will just roll with the punches and suck it up.But on the bright side I don't,t have to work and increase the chance of catching this virus, although I am fearful that I may not have job in June but if I am breathing in June that's a plus.
Hunker down stay safe Geoff

And the government guidelines say anyone self isolating should be furlough to help them financially. Should get £94 a week sick pay though, but not even paid me that! They can think again if they want me back at work.

Companies are having a tough time following the (non)leaders.

Companies are having a tough time following the (non)leaders. True, but the government will pay 80% of my pay for staying home. Costs the employer nothing. They don't even have to make up the extra 20%

It may be better in the UK but over in the Idiot States of America every 'leader' is saying something different and Trump the extremely stable Moron is firing everyone. It is a madhouse which is why the ISA has the worst Covid situation in the world.
