Holy crap. Well hopefully you get it running again soon. You dont happen to have acceleration graphs do you? I'm curious how it picks up compared to mine? I'm sure it blows it out of the water lol This was my timed run. 1k contra 5.8g sliders 4500rpm clutch engagement. On this 72cc setuo

Back on the old 1pz Kevlar belt. Which still thin, isn't slipping right now. And I wasn't easy on it. But hit 52 or so in a half mile. I need a tach but I almost feel like my rollers are to light based on how it did run before (1k and the sliders)
Gonna put my 2T's on the back burner for a bit and place a parts order Friday for Kym hopefully. Tach/temp gauge, 738 Belt, SSPG (HOCA) vari and cnc faceplate. And may borrow the 130 rear tire from Oliver as well. May just be what I need to push it over 60.

Well rode to rehoboth this morning and 6 gram rollers are way 2 light. 53 mph top speed at what sounded like 10k+ rpm. And I'm not sure if it's the contra or using rollers, but I no longer have the strong shift out accompanied with a large drop in rpms. My shift out speed is also about 5 mph higher than with the 5.8g sliders and 1k contra (40-42 vs 36-38). Gonna try 7g rollers and see if the rpms calm down. And if that don't do it then back with the sliders

Well 7 gram rollers put my shifting back where it was with sliders and 1k but the belt is totally done. Revved way high off launch still. And only hit 45 and slipped. Got one more old belt to try and get me til after Friday when I place my parts order.
Also toying with the idea of putting a rebuilt 50mm kit back on, or getting something I saw in the karma thread.

Well sent a message about the karma thread item. And while reading threw some other threads, i have found conflicting info. And to be honest I don't remember if I ever ran my old airsal kit with a stock head or not. Whoops let the cat out the bag...i do have a 50mm head I could port and polish.
But one thing at a time, gotta get this CVT figured out again before I go throwing more power at it.

My Datsun 240 z in High school always ran better when I washed and waxed it and cranked up the music real loud . Sometimes its the easy fixes .

My Datsun 240 z in High school always ran better when I washed and waxed it and cranked up the music real loud . Sometimes its the easy fixes . Well figured it out this morning on the ride to work. One of the bolts that holds the center stand to the case took a vacation and the stand was rubbing against the tire. Hit 57 after I strapped it up. And now it's pulled off completely. Whoo thought it was something serious about to rear it's ugly head.

Snapped another belt. So something ugly did rear up, But it was old. Never had one bust like this thou. Its in half like it was cut with scissors. I'll try to remember to take a picture. 60 mph plus on gps is so freckin close.

insomnia has set in tonight. Good thing in a way. I decided to get on here and had a message. And i now (well still gotta pay for shipping) have the next part of this build on the way. Actually I have the next 2 parts of this build on the way. Naraku CNC faceplate, SSPG performance variator, starter clutch bushings (on backorder), new long exhaust nuts, set of wrist pin locks, and a Naraku 738-18-28 belt. The other part of this build is a 81cc Airsal kit.
I plan to do some additional notching to the valve reliefs of the Airsal to use my stock ported head. And ,for now anyways, don't plan on putting the 81cc on right away. Id like to get an RDR intake and bigger carb(CVK 24 or 26 or PWK 19 to 24)to go with the 81. But hoping just the sport variator, new belt and another used Vee Rubber 120/70 will put me over 60. But if it stays hot like this, over 90 daily, I may have to rejet. Seamed awfully rich(boggy, dead and smothered sounding) yesterday then after shift out it would start getting loud.

All of my next items for Kym are en route. Should be here by Wednesday. Gonna try to have the new belt and vari installed and broke in by Thursay. Just gonna give Stephanie Geller(thats who the email come from and i beleive the phone call on Friday as well)at parts for scooters a small shout out in finding me some starter bushings in stock and getting them out with my order. With how bad my bushing is I didn't want the bendix to continue to rub on the vari face, specially since I'm going with a CNC face with this setup.
Gonna keep updating as I do more but about ready to switch gears again an focus on my 2T builds. Gonna rebuild Becky's engine and put it in Oliver. In hopes that I also can have 2 60+ mph bikes, for a possible group ride. Maybe endless summer car show will still be on.

I'll try to remember to take a picture. 60 mph plus on gps is so freckin close. That makes no sense could it be just a bad batch of belt what brand was it ? Any belt slip going on? Almost at 60 mph that is quite build you already have .

The first belt, I'm sure was my own fault. Tried going to hard too quickky. The second belt was actually one I already had like 2000 miles on. This is quite the build sir, that's for sure. Been looking at the 4T builds on the forum and I do very well believe I currently have the fastest. dexameth could possibly be quicker with his 94cc stroker(scootie i think)but never put it back on the list. Current mod list 47mm Kit Ported and polished 39mm head (18.5 and 16 mm valves 19 and 20mm ports) Port matched intake Universal parts 18.5 CVK carb with RDR manual choke kit;34 and 92 jets middle needle? StG(scooters to go) short can sport pipe modded to fit the Agility 16/52 primary (3.25) 17/49 Secondary gears (9.367 final) Stock from a wolf rx50 vari with 7gram Malossi rollers Naraku 1500 contra 120/70-12 rear tire (130 is stock size) Had been using 729 belts (bando are the best,1pz Kevlar 2nd best) It's got a performance 107mm clutch and bell from eBay seller 1motorsportsusa, has over 10k kms on it, 2k clutch springs These are the next things I've bought to replace/upgrade Sspg 89mm performance variator Naraku CNC Faceplate Naraku 738 18 28 belt. (Proper size for a Kymco Agility) Starter clutch bushing(2 fix the LDS my bendix has) Zino I'm gonna be honest thou gutiwarrior and krisgenchev are hyping me to get to my goals. Until i knew about their bikes i had the fastest scoots in my county. Possibly even the state of Delaware. The only person I knew of that had a fast scoot was Brent. And he's somewhat safe being from Maryland lol. If this vari and belt doesn't get me over 60, guess I'll have to put the 50mm Airsal cylinder kit on. But I feel like I need more carb. I done killed a airsal piston before. Spit a pin lock out at 50mph. But if my memory serves I was on the lean side with a 95 main jet. Ive also been looking into getting a different gear set as well. Top Racing 18/50 primary prepressed set. Which in the pictures appears to have a 15t for the secondary. Quick calc shows that with the 49t gear I have put the final at 9.07. And if I were to use the complete 17/49 that puts the final at 8:1. I feel like Kym could push 9.07 as is. 8:1 is more for a true 94/95cc stroker. But then again it's been said that 72cc can't push 9.36 but I've proved that to be a lie, well at least for a 180lb max guy like myself
