Well everyone here it is. Got a tadpole for an engine and other spare parts. And as the 2nd picture shows it's gotta rear DISK brake. This is amazing. Never seen a 50 with a rear disk until today

Been doing a little bit of looking over of the tadpole. Appears to have stock vari, clutch and all springs. It has 11.05 gearing stock. Currently has a gates 729x17.5 belt that slips ever so slightly on the vari (engine off, holding crank and turning belt). I've also noticed that it has a non emission head but the valve cover still has the pair tube. I'm gonna venture a guess that someone has kitted this bike already. Today after work, has long as it's not raining, I'll be pulling the head to check. The head that is on it has stripped and/or busted one of the exhaust stud holes.
This engine/bike has been in storage for a while as i found a rats nest in the CVT housing.

Well ain't this some shit. The 3 wheeler has linked together brakes or something. It has 2 masters, but they run to a distribution block of sorts. Looks like I'm in the market for a new rear brake hose. But at this point I've got the body and harness off of Kym. The body is loose on the Sunny and just have to pull the harness off. Then reverse process. Then the engine will come off and get gone threw.

Being a three wheeler, you have to expect a weird brake setup. Rear brake lines are easy to get though. Might be worth getting a braided line if you can. It's a long line to lose pressure over.

Gonna remeasure it once I get the motor reinstalled in Kym, but im thinking 200cm will work, but for the price I've found one at PFS that should be perfect. For the bentelli havoc. Upside is i might be able to use one of the 3 wheeler lines for the front on Kym. Which would be an upgrade considering it's a braided line and the stock Kymco is rubber. Also what's everyones thoughts about sintered brake pads for a daily driver

Forgot to take pictures, will when I get back home but as of 1130 this morning Kym is sitting as a basically bare frame. Both engines are out. KYM'S harnesses still needs to be cut at the key switch but otherwise is off. And the Sunny harnesses is just to be unziptied and pulled from the frame. Then I'm gonna splice the Kymco ignition switch to the Sunny harnesses.
This has been a large task to accomplish with nothing more then hand tools and shear determination. But this is the goals of what I'm doing Nice new "unhacked" harness, AC Ignition DC lighting (which the sunny has, lights come on with key and have off/park/head switch and hi/low) Low mile long case shortblock And at this point the rear disk brakes is the only major upgrade
Although, within the next couple of weeks I'll actually be able to get the rear disk hooked up, with new front pads for Kym as well. Gotta be abke to stop good now since im going for 60+ mph and daily driver realible. And while I'm at it gonna upgrade the clutch, with and adjustable from SSPG and get a new bell. The clutch, bell and clutch springs in it know have over 10k miles

Defiantly go for sintered pads. Most small bikes brakes are not that good anyway. Sintered have a much better bite, especially in the wet compared to organic pads.

The Kymco already has a twin piston caliper on the front and getting ready to have one on the rear as well. And down to stopping power the 2 piston had it but the organic type pads fade quickly. I've already had a few times when I thought I wasn't gonna stop, normally high speeds and after a long ride.

I tried EBC organic on my 600. Really didn't like them compared to the normal double H pads. They are a little cheaper. But you want to know when you apply the brakes they bite straight away. That few seconds could be the difference between an accident, or close call.

Well my new motor has a 83cc kit on. And whoever put it on here Fucked up and it could've been real bad too Only 1 circlip. And based on the black of the head and plug it was running quite rich, or the auto choke is stuck on full time Also had a metal head gasket and the silicone is just about worn off so that means it was fitting to blow a head gasket And I don't really like the looks of this rod dont like that the small end is black, but at least it doesn't have any side or in/out play and doesn't have a bent vari side

Well after measuring the bore instead of the the head gasket its a 47mm kit that was on this morning, with a 47mm head that has one entire exhaust stud hole busted out. Stock valves tiny ports and some stiff ass double springs. Or my ass is just tired and weak at this point in the, damn it's after midnight.
Got MY 72cc kit in the new motor. And have the Kymco motor torn down to the cases. The cam that was in the Sunny motor appears to also be an A9. I micd it at 25.7 and 25.8. Where my old StG A9 with a crazy amount of miles micd at 25.6 and 25.7. Guess losing .1mm after over 14k kms ain't bad. Oh and been in 4 kits over the last year and a half

Been kinda dragging feet so far this week. Been doing meaninal tasks. Such as cutting the pair system mount off the valve cover and used steel stik as a bondo of sorts to smooth out the cut area. The new harness is laid onto the frame and ready to be tied to the ignition and brake lights. Also had to tweak my exhaust hanger a bit so everything mounts together tight.
Gotta deflate my back tire so it comes off. The tire hits the swingarm mounts with it inflated and the long axle don't allow me to twist the wheel so it comes all the way off. Once I do that the gears will be installed. Also while I have the swingarm off I'm gonna sand it down and give it a shot of fresh black paint. And possibly the rear wheel as well just so everything matches.
