They look very similar to what someone I know put on a street fighter build. One was high, one low beam. And the bulb a running light, or as we say, side light. The were very bright. I remember he said wiring them in was a pain.

I remember he said wiring them in was a pain. These do not have any electronic ballast, they just use H3 bulbs so they will be easy to wire. They currently have 55watt bulbs, I ordered 35watt bulbs in case the electrical system cannot handle the 55watt bulbs. I flipped the supplied headlight brackets around so they would be narrow where they mount to the frame. I like the looks of them that way VS. the way they were intended to be used.

It would certainly look more sleek with the seat lowered, but I'd say go for what gives you a good riding position. Of course you could work with pegs and bars, if you want to be lower overall but like the ergonomics as-is. If you lower it all, you may punch a smaller hole in the air if you were after every last MPH.
It may not be that bad to be farther from the exhaust and radiators on those hot South Carolina afternoons though.
BTW, I've enjoyed watching you take to the lathe and the welder so quickly to create your custom scoot.

BTW, I've enjoyed watching you take to the lathe and the welder so quickly to create your custom scoot. I went ahead and lowered the seat about 1 1/8" front and back. Brent got me thinking about what I want out of this scoot, which is comfortable and cool This is how I originally had it. This is lowered and the radiators are now lower and re-positioned. I think it does look better with the seat lowered. The radiators looked better when they were angled I think. I guess I could move them back if I wanted.

I moved the radiators back up and angled. I like them much better this way. By the way, 190mech the cylinder came today thanks a bunch! Looks kinda dinky compared to the Tadia LOL 190mech was kind to send me a LC cylinder kit back I had previously sent him to try out on his AF16 build, he ended up not using it, so I will be using it on this scooter until I can get back to work on the TP86 motor. I had way to much going on. Trying to build this scoot and a one off motor was just too much for me to do at once. The LC cylinder he sent me works with a stock stroke crank so it should go together quickly.

I like the angled rads too.
One thing about the seat vs bars... Sit on there and put your hands on the bars before it's all wrapped up. Try to make sure you are putting some weight on the handlebars. If not, you should probably adjust the seat, bars or suspension in order to do so. The leveled out stuff may look nice, but it doesn't feel nice when the front is light cornering or braking and it should be a little easier to keep it from popping the wheel up when you don't want it to.

That looks more in proportion. And the radiators definitely suit the angled look.

Lowered seat is the move. Looks more speedy this way.

Over the weekend I was able to make the holders for the brake lights that will slide into the frame tubes. I am planning to use hex set screws to hold them in place. I also cut to size and tapped holes in the middle seat support. I guess its time to prep everything for welding. The EMT conduit I used for the rear seat supports is galvanized, so I need to strip that coating good before welding. In hindsight I should have just ordered a piece of mild steel tubing of the correct size.
