Seem to work really well. I have seen quite a few bikes with bar end indicators. Some of them are surprisingly good.

I like the hazard indicators. I miss having that function on my Chinese scooter. Looks quite bright and well thought out. Actually it does not have that function, that was just me tapping the wires to the battery. I dont know why I was blinking the brake lights like they were blinkers Lol! I agree though, scooters should have the HAZARD flashing capability. Maybe I can get that feature going for this build.

I really want to use bar end mirrors on this build so possibly the turn signals could be incorporated into the bar end mirrors somewhere. LINKIt may be more clunky than you'd like, but I did hazard lights a simple way when I had them on T2. I put a switch in that would connect/disconnect the L & R turn signals to each other. With the switch on, using either turn signal made all of them flash and with it off they worked as normal. Of course there are hazard switches that do this for you and then you just need one button to turn them on/off, but when I last looked (long ago) a lot of them were kinda big.

If your just going to be using the key for the kill then a latching start/stop could serve that purpose. Some of the higher end bikes have really nice factory switches so just hit up the bay and see what can be had if you didn’t have something already. Aprilia uses domino controls and are pretty decent.

I was a little worried at first, with just seeing the small round lights. I'm not a big fan of small lights because I don't trust other drivers anyway, so poor lighting is one more reason to be ran over. They look quite bright and visible though, so nice job keeping it both clean and safe! The only thought I'll add is to consider having whatever signals you use up front mounted in a way that allows for some side visibility. I usually either use a light that does that on it's own or just mount the front signals at a little angle. Prob not saying anything you don't know, but I'm kind of a stickler for using turn signals so I couldn't help myself. 🤓 I agree, we need all of the help we can get to be seen. I am surprised at the amount of light getting through the lenses. They are quite bright and some of the light can be seen from the side fairly well. Hopefully it is enough, however there are other options if they do not work out. For the front turn signals, I am thinking of putting the same type of yellow dots I have on the rear signals, into the ends of the handlebars. I dont know if is legal (like it matters here) or just a bad idea. Or maybe some of the yellow dots up on the headlight bracket. I really want to use bar end mirrors on this build so possibly the turn signals could be incorporated into the bar end mirrors somewhere. I remember Happypancake! had some really bright LED blinkers on the front of his Q-Bert C3. Very small so they didn’t stick out on the underside of the bars, but super bright.

I like @90gtvert 's solution for the Hazard function, it's simple. If I have them, I will likely do it that way. I have not got much done that can be seen since my last post. However I have been struggling here trying to come up with handlebar controls, brake levers and the throttle. The main issue is that I am dead set on using the NCY needle bearing throttle I have. It is a bit large. So when I tried to test fit everything, I found there was not enough room for all of it. The controls (switches) I ordered from the amazon for this project are very similar to the ones I used on my other naked build, but they are also a little big. I ended up ditching the big controls and using one of the small stage6 LEFT side controls I had on hand for the RIGHT side, but I mounted it upside down. It works and I like it so I ordered another Stage 6 style clone to use on the LEFT side. I am also planning on lengthening each side of the handlebar by about and 1 1/2" so I will have a place for the bar end mirrors and the bar end blinkers. The bar end blinkers I ordered are not here yet, so they are not yet pictured. I have not decided how to mount the Trail Tech to the handlebars yet, so it is just sitting there in the pictures. I could mount a plate to the existing brackets, then mount the TT to it, or I could cut the brackets off and do something else to mount the TT. Dunno yet. I bit the bullet and ordered some OEM Kymco parts from the Racing Planet. A center stand, brake levers, master cylinder parts, radiator piping, and some other small parts. Inter planetary shipping is expensive nowadays, and I have no idea when the order will arrive. I could have ordered some Adelin style brake levers, but money is short and it's hard to tell if what I order will fit correctly and end up being junk or not. I know the stock Kymco stuff will fit and is good quality.

Awesome 🚬 Why a center stand and not a side stand?

Awesome 🚬 Why a center stand and not a side stand? I really like center stands, they are so handy. And the Kymco center stand is attached to the frame, which makes pulling the motor considerably easier. Who knows, I may add some type of side stand eventually.

On my (still unfinished) Met project I mounted my Trail Tech attached to a thick piece of Kydex, and then found a bike mounting bracket on Amazon. Holds well and looks clean.

Where did you source the bar end blinkers from?

Where did you source the bar end blinkers from? Both types came from the Amazon. The smaller ones cost $10 for 10 of them. The larger ones cost around $12 for 2 of them. To me, the smaller ones look brighter than the bigger ones.

I trimmed the unneeded brackets from the handlebars. The mounting bracket was only tacked in place, the bars will be re positioned slightly different from where they were tacked, and welded up for good.
