Im looking into fork swapping my Powermax 150. Im guessing theyre old (2013 model), front shocks have maaaybe an inch and a half of travel with me jumping on it, rears have about the same. Most of which gets taken up when I sit on it. Only front forks i can find are the NCY legs, and I love this scooter, but I dont want to spend 300 bucks on shocks. Anyone recommend a good budget front shock that eats bumps good, has decent travel, and isnt too soft?

The NCY are constantly popping up used on forums and FB groups for half that.
Alternately, you can rebuild your fronts with new springs and oil.

Fit stiffer springs/ oil like said above. You could also add a spacer on top of the springs to give you more preload. Plus heavier weight oil. Might work for very little money.

I do like aeroxbud offers...usually gets you close. I have even mixed weights...say 15 and 10 to get 12.5.
You can also consider fork caps with vents. I use them on many bikes for fine tuning. The idea is to start out equal to ambient fork pressure, with you sitting on the bike. (Vents slightly cracked open, then have some one tighten them.) Ride. Too soft? Mark the tubes with fine tape and then gently raise the bike a mm or two. (Vents cracked open to let air in) Close again and test. Too stiff? Do the opposite. Bleed a bit out. Uhh, the tape works different in this direction....you can pre-mark the tubes with the tape, allowing for the desired mm drop.
It really takes two peeps.
