Interesting. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Decided to ship the whole thing to Jonathan Gick to have him tear it down and rebuild it with a VMC 177 kit on it. Should be back to me in about 3 weeks or so. |

Hello all, long time no see!
My laptop died awhile ago and I lost all my passwords and login info's, just got back around to here sadly. Been over on MV posting about this project.
But I'll update over here too:
Bike is almost all done. Ran into some electrical issues that I may have sorted finally. Got the engine back in Feb and finished up the body work and running new cables and wire harness. Have been going back and forth trying to nail down a seat that I can use a spare carrier off the back of the scooter. Since it's on 10" wheels now the options were few. Got 2 types and the one has a backrest with the spare carrier. Would be perfect for taking my kid to school but these dang repop parts never fit right. Spare doesn't clear the buddy seat. So I went with a bench seat... damn long tail version so no spare tire off the back with that. Just ordered a new sport seat that doesn't hang over the frame. So I have a GS160 style one which is just the carrier and the one that has the back rest. Both should be usable with the new seat but we'll see.
Spent a while chasing shorts in the electrics and have no kill switch currently, may have to run a single new wire for that. I'll update with some pics later tonight or tomorrow. gotta run now to grab a kid from school.
