I was eyeballing the Maxiscoot MXS stuff last night. It’s a Loooooong way from my air cooled Naraku 70cc 12mm kit.

Right now I'm running an Airsal T6 Racing 70cc on my Zuma. I figure I've had fairly good success this far on splitting the cases and getting them to seal, etc. So why not try something a little more challenging. I've got one case ready to accept the crank just using a dremel and an ebay cutting bit.

The MXS products are great imho. If you buy the high compression head, they are claiming close to 30hp! The only thing is the exhaust is a 4 bolt flange so you have to figure out how to make your pipe work. I'm going to either run the MXS racing pipe or possibly a Yasuni C40.
Anyone here running a C40?

The 2 bolt flange exhausts work with the 4 bolt pattern too, but they might have too small inside diameter for the exhaust port. I think the mxs gp90 would be the best bet, since it was designed for this exact cylinderkit. Its about 320€ on maxiscoot right now, if you wait for winter sales you might get it for little under 300€.

I can’t figure out how to post pictures from my new phone.
Back in December, my Zuma got stolen from my back yard. That was the third scoot I’ve had stolen here in St. Louis. So I put this build on the back burner for a while after that.
I did finally get a 45mm, 85mm con rod Airsal crankshaft. The MXS with the appropriate 90mm rod is not in stock anywhere right now. My only other options were a TCR crankshaft, a 2fast 45.8, or a R&D with a piaggio variator. The only problem so far is I can’t use the 5mm spacer included with the kit. The transfers are so huge, on one side a small portion hangs off the side of the crankcase. I made a custom spacer out of .020 aluminum in the shape of the spacer include with the kit. I also added jb weld in the spot it would have hung off the case.
I should be getting the mxs exhaust, MVT ignition, and a mxs intake in a few days.
I will post pictures when I figure out how to do it from iPhone.

That is a Polini Big Evo reed cage and a Most 25mm 5 degree spacer. I was going to use that setup but could not find an intake compatible with the 30-38mm carb MXS recommends. I finally found a MXS intake kit with kx85 reeds at scooter swap shop. It will accept the larger carb.
I’m considering a 34mm since that’s what was on the setup on YouTube that made close to 30hp. I’ve never ran anything larger than a 21mm delorto, so I am nervous about tuning the pwk I decide to go with. I’m looking at the Stage 6 pwk’s. I will definitely be asking for some advice when the time comes to tune. I always start super rich. I read yesterday that pwks will run fine even if they are running lean.
Tomorrow I am expecting a shipment from Maxiscoot. I will be getting: MXS GP90 exhaust MVT Digital Direct Str8 Water pump Lots of odds and ends for liquid cooling Quick action throttle 16mm variator small parts
MXS intake should be here Friday.
All that’s left to get is Stage6 PWK YZ125 radiators Stage6 Oversized CVT Clutch and Bell Temp gauge Tachometer I’m sure I’m forgetting a few small things.

Just wanted to see if I would like the painted wheels. The frame is in primer now and will be painted the same color green as the cvt cover.

This is the build I am attempting to copy. I will have all of the exact same parts other than the crankshaft and ignition system. They ran the stage6 PVL and this build will have the digital direct with lighting.
