I was thinking the same, but then I don't see any indication that the display could change to miles... like you notice with the other digits that can change. I contacted racing planet about it but even if it doesnt read miles i gotta have it. its a direct bolt on QT replacement, only one I have ever seen.. its just too cool to not get. I can pretend the kph is mph lol i'll be flyin then...and not be.

Maybe it's got a switch inside to change it to read MPH.

A Dremel is great to have, but if you don't wanna get one ATM you can use a chisel to get it out. You can file or use a burr in a drill to smooth it out if you are so inclined.

true. i had 2 demels that got burned up with everything else in the fire a few years ago. it sucks to go spend money to replace all the things i had before that took me years to build up. ive been needing a dremel ever since though so when the Baja sells im gonna go get a dremel.

i just bought a silverline 'rotary hobby tool' on ebay. theyre dirt cheap & this is the 2nd one ive had, but for the price you can afford to trash one every few years. i didnt realise they have a 2 year warranty lol they come with a good selection of bits - the flexible shaft is a good accessory too especially if you intend doing any port or casing work

I beat on that restrictor with a chisel then had a thought, since its just one spot weld why not just stick the chisel in the thing and wiggle it back and forth to break the weld? Viola! Came right out. The photo above is misleading, with the muffler bracket on the top like that you would have room to get the dipstick out but thats not how it bolts up, the bracket mounts on the bottom not the top. It looks great but its too loud. People turn and look...which I dont want... and checking/adding oil is impossible. The muffler must be unbolted and removed to get the dipstick out The header flange would have to be cut and re welded at a different angle to mount the system as pictured so the dipstick could be removed but then i would worry about it scraping the ground on a right turn Great system for a race bike that would be on the track or the rack all its life. Not a system for the daily driver. It will be fine for Project Stroker 95 since that bike will not be a daily driver it will be a weekend cruiser only. Also it offers no performance gain on a motor with a stock head, cam and carb. This exhaust was bought for Stroker95, Midnight will not have this system on her long, tooooo loud for a tagless 82cc daily driver :light: . I couldnt leave it in the box though I just had to run it a little

It does sound good! Its a shame a big company like L V couldnt design a pipe that allows access to the very important dip stick!! :stumped:

That's more like what I'd expect out of some off-brand eBay type stuff. Looks and sounds good though.

Enviro says you can get the dip stick out, but it's a little fiddly. I never was though. I've still got one of these in my loft from my 139QMB days.
