Well Carlos is saying that the 78mm cylinder won't work and that the intake, exhaust ports are different too. He is suggesting the 77mm, I think, (hard to decipher message) but that it's designed for ATV and a 52mm crank. So I emailed him again asking if he has a 77mm tall cylinder with a 54mm bore that should work.

Carlos will work with you!Gotta read between the translation lines though!!I would have picked the taller jug because of the 45mm stroke..A 52mm stroke is BWS100 stuff, wont fit a std Mina motor...

I gotta 5?mm tall top-end, complete. Great shape! Could be for sale? Could be interested! I don't know what I am doing yet, all I know I need to get something. I ordered some tools to complete my dissasembly and split the case to get the crank out. (Flywheel puller, circlip pliers, quality and accurate digital calipers) Once I set the new crank in to ensure it fits well I will go from there. While Carlos has been helpful I am not sure what he is saying, asking me to "weigh" the crankshaft and measure TDC. How can I measure TDC when the crank isn't installed and I have no piston? I think he must think I have an ATV, and looking at past builds from others on this site and other forums all are showing a 71mm tall cylinder from him. The stock one is 68mm tall so I don't even know how one that is 10mm taller will work. I know they make spacers and all but I just need to do a little more research I guess...... and don't really know what I am doing in the first place! Anyway tell me more........ Will it fit a Minarelli with a 45mm stroke? I will verify and compare the new to me crank with the stock one once I get it out. I will measure everything then.
