Nice. I want snow. A lot of this country will get some this week. Probably not where I live though, it's too near the sea. Did have a few flakes today though.

Perfect riding weather. We got a dusting here and I'm sure the city is shut down.

None here in this part of Wales as yet but someone said it is minus 6 c I believe it too with the wind. Thermals tomorrow when I road test the cut down after finishing it in morning or if snow when take the sidecar out instead.

We had a couple of dustings that look like about 1" (2.5cm) accumulation. Only about 5°F (-15°C) here, the city is used to this, so no slowdown. Business as usual all year round. Supposed to be a few degrees warmer tomorrow. Winds here in the central US can make for wicked cold.
Live steam blast furnace weather in the summer.
I hate Kansass. Nobody should have to live here.

20” on Monday, 5” today (Sunday) only 2 days this week without snow. Last year we didn’t even have an inch of snow!! I’m going to run out of place to put this stuff soon.

Today we got about 2" across a few hours of heavy snowfall. It ended with about 30-45 minutes of rain, which was just enough to melt most of the driveway and leave everything else covered. The snows last week fell and were immediately melted away by rain. So I get to see some snow briefly and then it's gone. If they wouldn't salt the roads constantly, it'd be almost perfect. The only catch with this one is icing overnight. Monty: Eh, I might be able to hold it.

Fluffy is OK, ice is bad. One year we got 2" (5cm) of ice on everything. I could not even get out of my drive because of a live power line partially down and tangled with a downed tree. The sparks and buzzing were kind of pretty in that surreal world covered in ice. The city did stop for that one. Snow plows don't work on ice, salt only works if the temperature is high enough. Sand does not work if it is covered in ice. That may have been the year most of the cities ran out of road salt. I hate what that stuff does to vehicles.
Pet reaction to snow is great to watch.

We have 2" of fluff, colder than a well digger's ass here, 12°F. Supposed to reach 16°F today but 12°F high tomorrow. The gas and electric bills are going to be hell. Maybe I can duct some heat off the senate building in DC.... I don't know if this link will work for anyone:
I notice images are not working.
