Im finally returning to a lost love, selling my Zuma 70 for a Vino 125. I regretted not loving my old one like i should have, and im addicted. Now, Vinos stock are pretty peppy already. But i always wanted to big bore one. Id be getting the full kit (150cc, cam, full cvt, all that good stuff), probably a 26 slide carb to boot with the exhaust. Im itching to get it done, but has anyone actually done a full big bore setup like that? And if so, what was it like? Mph, acceleration and such. Ill start the thread when i get the bike, hopefully soon

What top end are you going to put on? My Vino 125 has 24k on it, so Iβm planning for the future (I hate throwing things away that can be fixed).

I was talking with Chris from RCscooters and they have a full 150 kit. 150, cam, trans, everything and its dumb cheap. He said all youre limited by is gearing and belts, but they do pretty good. I may end up installing the kit myself. But yeah, its from those guys. I hope itll be pretty quick. If i could squeeze 70-75 out of it and beat mid built two strokes, id be happy. Otherwise im getting a Majesty to whoop ass π

When I had my Roketa 150, I looked up dynos for the GY6 (different engine, I know). It looked like most were 8-10WHP. My TMAX 500 has 40-45BHP and my 86cc 2T with ~20BHP would leave it in a quick red light kinda race. The Yamaha SMAX 155cc has about 15BHP and goes 70+MPH. I've read about the Majesty 400 doing something like 9-11 seconds 0-60 stock. I'm going to guess that it's like my TMAX and probably slow for the first 30-40MPH because clutch engagement on the big scoots doesn't seem very aggressive. Top speed, sure... but be careful if the goal is to drag race 2Ts. I'm interested to see how it goes. There are certainly some 4Ts that go hard.

Theres a few alternatives. Im probably still gonna big bore the vino cause its so cheap and ive always wanted to, but ive accepted that its not gonna be super fast. So, for the fast drag bike, either a mhr bugeye...or a built 460 drag mini bike i found. I know scoots are fast, but id love to see one keep up with those lil rocket bastards π

Isn't the standard vino top speed about 50-55mph? To get it up to 70 with only such a small displacement increase would be impressive performance.
The MHR kit is a great kit. I rode a runner with one fitted, and a city 16 exhaust. Would lift the front wheel. That's a lot heavier bike than a prebug.

Not saying thats true 60, but i think the speedo was pretty close. Granted, ive probably gained 20 pounds since then, but theyre quick. They dont have much off the line, its kinda like the Zuma in that regard. But mine would do 50 with three people on board (dont ask....or do π)

Good info!
Swapping out a blown motor in a Vino right now (knocking, so pretty sure itβs a bottom end problem).
And my daily driver Vino 125 has 24,000 miles on it, so Iβm preparing for the future.

Someone removed all the emissions junk off of it. It went from GPS 52-3 to 55mph. But really improved acceleration. Worth doing. We never got the vino here. But got that engine in the Yamaha Cygnus. It had more modern, than retro bodywork. I tried one a couple of times, as my wife had one as a hire bike for a few weeks. It wasn't bad. But not as quick as my aerox.

I didnt realize all the emissions stuff hindered it so much, btw im guessing it was Mitch?
My only real gripe with the vino is the clutch engages way too early so it bogs. But itll walk down a GY6 150 or at least not let it get away, which is impressive as its 40 pounds heavier and 25ccs down. I think itd be a good daily

Yes it was Mitch video. Would be much more reliable than a GY6 I'm guessing. A great bike for everyday. I know someone who had a Cygnus. Had it for seven years. Did 12 miles a day to work and back. Only changed the oil a couple of times. Never went wrong. He only replaced It with another when it got stolen.
