I just got an email that a different company wants to send me a welder. www.ebay.com/itm/363456440542I'm gonna say no because I'm not trying to be a welder review channel and my last experience wasn't what I'd call a positive one. I've worked too hard to get hardly anywhere on YouTube so I don't want people to run off because of product reviews. I did look up cold welding because it's yet another process that I knew nothing about. It dangles a carrot that it provides beautiful welds without discoloration and burning through everything. Real world seems to be that it is OK for making pretty welds on tight seams with high amp very short duration microbursts... as long as good weld penetration is not a concern. Here's an interesting video about it : youtu.be/V7-mcjR59a4Kinda crazy how I put up 1 review of what you guys gave me and now I got a cutter a 5-in-1 and now another welder offer. Also got an offer for a free portable tire inflator in exchange for 1 video and 2 posts. Problem is, it's $80 and I can't in good conscience sing it's praises after seeing similar products for $40-60 ( amzn.to/3soDYcV ) and I don't want to take it knowing that I will have to be negative about it based on price. I would like to replace the one under my seat with something similar sometime though. They look much better that my deconstructed HF 12V pump that would be a pain to use thanks to removing the case so I can fit it in my tool kit. I think your painful honesty is highly marketable, and appreciated by both the sellers and your tube viewers. I would keep my options open if I were you. Who knows, someone may throw a Motorcycle or a car or something really nice at you one day soon. Just saying.  |

Who knows, someone may throw a Motorcycle or a car or something really nice at you one day soon. Just saying. I'm not saying no more reviews ever. I just don't want to be an all review channel, unless people start sending me scooter parts that I actually want. That would beat the heck out of situations like spending $1000 to try a carb to make $50 on the whole series of videos. Problem is, past offers for free parts either have too many stipulations or I can't be honest or it's stuff that I have no interest or use for. If someone wants to send me a new scooter or motorcycle in exchange for a video, you'll be seeing reviews! Yamaha, are you out there? I'd even ride an electric scooter. |

You need that wicked electric bike that Jack down at HP Logic has. I watched some stuff on the Sur Ron. It's impressively quick and fast once modified. It's probably fun. I just don't think electric fills the same void as ICEs. It all seems so boring and lifeless to me. Plugging in a new controller or a new battery and getting out the multimeter does nothing for me. I'll take a degree wheel and a rotary tool with a side of calipers and solder. Some guy goes by my house on a standup electric scooter, playing with his phone as he zips by totally silently at ~15MPH and it depresses the hell out of me. Even watching a Tesla Plaid do low 9 second quarter miles just makes me think... who's showing up to tracks when all you hear is the whir of an electric motor? Listening to a car with a narrow lobe separation angle rumble the asphalt as it waits in the staging lanes or hearing the roar and watching the flames shoot out of headers is a visceral experience. |

Ya I came across some NHRA drag racing yesterday.John Force is still a class act @ 72.About 4 seconds @ 321 mph in a quarter mile nowadays.Sounded glorious on my tv.American madness at it's finest.
