Live person for usps 800 non existent. Called local post office, she said she'll call back, partsforscooters said its priiority 3 day but been 5 days not 3. partsforscooters hung up on me. My package went from fl to fl, des moines, indy in, gary in, to one town over from me. The package went past my town three times. des, Indy then back north to gary in.

That looks like a problem with the delivery company. Not much you can do except call them, or perhaps put in a written complaint. Putting in in writing sometimes has more effect than calling.

USPS is whacked , tracking all over the place , local items took 2 weeks & cross country orders arrive in 3 days. I feel your aggravation! And Ups is worse , had a package arrive at my local ups that’s 1/2 mile from my house & they sent it to the usps to deliver , so they drove it past my house to drop at the post office for final delivery!

Nuts. I've had bad luck last couple days I ordered Hanes white tshirts, arrived after 10 days, look through the clear packaging Guess what I see? thick plastic nylon tags on the shirts this is 2021, sent back to find out 2-4w gor refund and then this morning I go to make some premix and the first bottle out of two amsoil dominator seal was broken, had to drive 40min total to a kaw shop get a replacement. Can't ride till parts come in, beginning of warm weather yup frustrating.

If USPS outsourced UPS to deliver, then who knows what’s up.
Since the new year, I’ve had packages be out for delivery then suddenly be marked as lost/unable to deliver/dog ate my homework.
I’ve had regular mail not show at all, which is a total hassle with insurance claim checks, because they want 60-90 days to pass before they will issue a new check.
Fun times.

Things have been wild with the USPS for quite a while. You may notice that some businesses and eBay sellers and so on will not even ship USPS right now. When I bought wheels from a member in FL on two occasions, they lost them somewhere in the system each time. Once was only a couple of days, but the other was more like a week. I had brake parts coming from ScooterPartsCo this week and they were late. It's now expected that I won't see things when estimated, though I still do with many shipments. I talked to Jeff from ScooterTuning in Canada and he said the supply chain is difficult to deal with right now. Matt of PFS fugaziiv posted here some time ago about similar problems. My father's eye specialist normally sends a card 3 months before a 6 month visit is due to remind patients to schedule. He never got one and when he realized it had been too long and called, they said they're sending them out but a lot of patients aren't getting them now, and that's all basically local mail that doesn't have to travel far. I don't really see what PFS can do about the shipping, unless it gets bad enough that it's a lost cause.

I am a parcel delivery guy in England, but this is global problem,to many parcels not enough people to deliver the m it,s just that the pandemic has changed lots of peoples shopping habits and the parcel companies cannot keep up,help line,s are overwhelmed with questions that they have no answer for, parcel tracking is a vain hope, you can only tell where the parcel was last scanned not where it is now.just a few tips don't,t order over the weekend, try and avoid "pay day" ordering and leave clear concise instruction at your address if you can.at our depot the vans are loaded and gone at 8am and any remaining parcels stacked back in a 40ft trailer or two? so no one can find a "missing" parcel until the night shift unload them again.one option is to pay extra for a timed delivery they tend to get treated a little better by the loaders.it,s not good but it won,t change any time soon.

That’s just how things are anymore. EVERY item I’ve ordered since December 2020 has been significantly late, especially USPS. I’ve gotten to the point that I’ve been paying for UPS just so I get it in a timely manner. How about FedEx 2 day that took 2.5 weeks. The shipping chain is just so backed up with so many people ordering instead of going out shopping. Just be patient.

25 years ago I had a manila envelope go missing mailed with the USPS from a church a block away from my house so the problem isn't new. The USPS has problems started by Trump last year that still have not been ironed out. Why not is a mystery. I am sure it will be fixed in time and the idiot running the post office will be replaced. The pandemic has everything backed up and getting worse. Government is never the most efficient way to do something. Hell I was involved with the government paperwork silliness that gave us $500 hammers and toilet seats. I had to fill out a stack of paper to certify materials were what they were supposed to be. The company I worked for would ship a single part the size of a pack of cigarettes along with a stack of paper 6 feet tall. Government silliness is still the same. Deliveries are still a nightmare, way too many packages were getting 'lost' or damaged the last few years. Why do you think Amazon started their own delivery service? The cost of lost and damaged goods was getting really bad, bad enough to pay for their whole delivery system, trucks, people and facilities. That said, I have had very few damaged or lost deliveries. I did have a problem with packages and mail delivered to me or a house with nearly the same address (one digit difference) a couple blocks over. The residents and I got to know each other making cross deliveries. Google, my ISP, can't even correctly identify my house half the time and can never get my internet address right, they think I am in another county. People and delivery drivers using GPS programs get directed to the wrong place constantly even though the local cities are basically a rectangular grid system. Things must be really bad in older cities in the world with rat warrens for roads. -Rant off-

I sorta jumped on about partsforscooters being at fault here at the forums, I very well shouldnt have, i edited the post thats says edited. They packaged very well and sent correct items ordered. Just in fact learrned a lesson and been so long to order from ajparts for my adly stock parts, i forgot and can only blame myself, after an ordering wrong fuel lines and wasting gas going to lawnmower and automotive shops "ajparts for now on for specific parts" . In which I had choosen usps again because cheapest fedex was $19 or something.
I need to learn and practice more patience.

To say we've been busy is an understatement and visiting the forum isn't something I can do with any regularity right now. Best to email me matt@partsforscooters.com if you have a question/need something. Also I'm sorry that we hung up on you? Did we really do that? It's not quite like us, unless there were some words being bandied about... sometimes that happens and I tell my staff to hang up rather than get involved. Regardless, I'm sorry. SOOOO... yes, shipping is a NIGHTMARE right now. None of the shipping companies are offering any guarantees on delivery dates unless you use FedEx Express. USPS is crazy overworked and understaffed, and FedEx and UPS aren't doing much better. Packages are sometimes getting lost, basically, it sucks. And if this all sounds bad, it's nothing compared to the sad shape of the Global Supply Chain situation. Completely borked. We're doing our best to work with everyone, but they're busy, we're busy and you guys want your parts. I get it, I really do. All I can ask is that everyone remain as patient as possible. Once the parts leave our warehouse we have very little control about how they will get delivered right now, but we will contact the various shipping companies on your behalf and do what we can. If the parts get confirmed lost, we'll obviously take care of that, but if they are delayed please give them every opportunity to be delivered, even though it may seem extreme sometimes. Once again, my apologies. Matt

My favorite one was a package that made it within 90 miles of my town, then disappeared only to end up in NYC three days later. Probably got left on the truck.
Yeah shipping is crazy, but I have to remind myself that most of the country was locked indoors for a year and online orders exploded. Inventories (for just about everything including food) are depleted and logistics are stretch to their limits.

I just put a letter in my mailbox yesterday and put the flag up. I had been a bit dizzy from my COVID shot and didn't want to drive to drop it at the post office in the morning as usual. The mail lady stopped and put the flag down and left the letter in there. Yes, it was stamped, addressed, etc...
