So I ordered a mxs big valve intake. It was used and thought I got a great deal on it. Said doesn't come with hardware. Ok, no problem! Didn't say it does not come with reed cage! On every pic I googled the intake comes with the reed, in his pic it didn't show the reed but I figured it was inside it? Didn't say does not come with reed! So I ask to return it. Then this as*hole tells me there will be a restocking fee! For what I ask? For a used part that you didn't describe correctly! Then he makes it to be my fault because I didn't read the description correctly! I went back and reread it 3 times. I'm no english teacher but it does not say no reed valve! So for all of you that decide to order from him, used or clearance parts. Make sure you call or message the P.O.S first so you know exactly what your getting. And don't have to deal with his bologna! Thanks Scooter rip off shop! Appreciate your kindness!

I've seen their site. Lots of flash and flair. I've had pretty good results from their sister site scooterpartshop.com. They do take their sweet time on shipping. I mean actually processing and shipping the item.
Scootertuning.ca does have a used section too. Have had good results with them as well.

I had a long conversation with the guy. He wasent very nice. All I have to say is if you order something from his garage sale section, just make sure beforehand what exactly your getting. I can't even find the reed to go with the kit anywhere?

I ordered stuff on a Friday and it shipped Friday afternoon. Arrived Monday complete with a bonus tootsie roll in the package.
I think used items from any site could be very suspect.

You emailed me saying we forgot to send the reeds, I explained I can get you reeds no problem, you replied with foul language, extremely rude and unprofessional. We took very clear pictures of the product. There’s always two sides to the story, if you ever have questions in the future about an item we always encourage people to call in and ask to make sure you know what your getting. You paid $80 for a $225 intake, that didn’t include reeds. Also starting an email out with “your fucking description doesn’t say it doesn’t come with reeds, you piece of shit” isn’t how you communicate with anyone trying to help. When reaching out to anyone, for clarification, help etc. kindness, and courtesy go a long ways. Threats, profanity, don’t set the stage for a positive outcome. I hope this helps for future purchases with any and all online stores

Did you ask them to send the reeds? The kit never came with reeds as shown in the photo. My first email I explained we can order the reeds for it, it was after that he carried on calling me vulgar names and making threats. I tried to offer solutions but at some point, when a customer is being aggressive and vulgar, I’m going to choose not to carry on conversations as they aren’t productive

Oh boy! Here we go again! You sold me a 50$ used part for 90 dollars! I would assume it came with the Reed! That's why I bought it because it was a good deal. All you said in description was it didn't come with hardware! Man the F*CK up say you were wrong! And maybe do the right thing!

We don't force ANYONE to buy ANYTHING. There is no way for us to force parts on anyone. You went to our site, saw the photo, put it in your cart and checked out. I was willing to communicate, as I did immediately, it was when you called me a "fucking asshole" when I decided I wasn't willing to help anymore.
the intake you purchased NEW with reeds is actually $260 RETAIL. You paid 80 without reeds... FYI the plate by itself, retails for $65, and the boot retails for $55. So what you purchased new, retails for $120, you paid $80, not sure how that's a scam. We are known for helping out every time we can, picking up the phone, making hours of free content to help people out, but when I'm being called a "piece of shit" when trying to help, and replying immediately, no im not willing to help you out.
Read the last part of the return policy listed on our page. We go out of our way to encourage people to call us before buying. No companies do that.
For items you'd like to return, as long as they are unopened, and in original condition, there is a 20% restocking fee. We didn't use to charge this, but its more common that items are being purchased, without the proper research before making the order. On average we spend about an hour on all returns. Also, for returns, we cannot cover the Return shipping, or the original shipping charge to get the item to you. Tough room USA made products will always cost more due to the cost of American labor. Quality should also be better.
I fail to see the point of calling out any company for a price point. I’d rather see a review of a product purchased at a lower cost and its durability compared to another product also owned.
SSS exists to work on scoots which is a niche market and will typically carry a premium.
