I’m having trouble finding a cg50 brake cable. I see one on eBay but it’s in Tialand and will take a while to get here. Anyone know of a readily available substitute?

Check out bike or motorcycle shops, take the old one with you.

That’s the problem, I don’t have one. I found one though for a cy50. That should fit, I hope.
But it brings up a good point about crossover parts. Most gy6 parts are interchangeable (except body panels) but what about the Japanese, Taiwanese, and European bikes? Is there a Honda part that works on a Yammy or a genuine?

Fronts are available at Partzilla, so I’m guessing you’re having an issue sourcing a rear brake cable, correct? Is this NOS in Texas what you’re looking for? Expensive though. www.ebay.com/itm/262922529249 |

I just ordered the cables listed on eBay as cg50/cy50 I know I would have ordered the cheapest listed and then made them fit with washers and spacers as required,they passed our safety inspection here in the UK.
