I found a baby rabbit that was dying of cold and being wet from the rains yesterday. it was laying on its side. I brought it in the house in the heat, ran to a store called tractor supply picked up baby kitten formula, came back, held it for a good while in the palm of my hand, it start moving around after a while in my palm of my hand then it ate some good bit of baby kitten formula. so then I made a box where the baby rabbit could just leave so I made a bedding and roof out of a towel for it and put it back outside after it was ready to be released. checked up on a few hours later it was gone I'm guessing Mama came and got it. interesting day yesterday.

Poor little kitten. I know it's only a rabbit, but good job. I hate to see things suffer.

Just going to throw this in,it,s that time of the year when birds start to fledge (leave the nest) if you find or see a young bird on the ground leave it alone it,s either a lost cause or it,s mom will be looking after it,there is reason birds lay and hatch to many eggs they are playing the numbers game, nature raw in tooth and claw.
