What's the plug look like? It’s metallic with some porcelain at both ends but that’s not important right now. (Trying to be Airplane movie like)

Pulled the plug. Looks pretty good. I think it is an airleak but the large jet helps compensate for that. I think I'm still dealing with a leaky spigot adapter. The radiator hose worked fine until it didn't. A combination of heat a gas made the end flare up and it got to where it would push the carb out of the boot. This made for multiple fun roadside repairs trying to get the carb to stay in to make it a few miles back home. I've got a different intake adapter on the way and will give it another try.

I'm still waiting on the 30mm intake adapter to come in, but today I swapped the last part off of the parts scooter, TWH rear shock. It's offset and has adjustable height and feels much better than the skinny stock shock.

I like the look . If this is keeping it stock what does full on race look like.
I think I told my wife a similar fib " I will only put it in a little way if you dont like it i will take it right out "and now I have 3 kids .

It was my original intent with the scooter since it was in such great shape, but I can't help myself. haha Full race is what I'm doing with one of my prebug Zumas. I've got a horizontal case and cylinder that are with ManVsScooter for port work at the moment. When they get back I'll be able to get that build put together.

Well I sold my other Elite this week and decided to indulge myself. Yasuni C16 for vertical minarelli, a few assorted flanges I can cut up and play with, and a spark plug wrench for my travel kit. I'm still in awe that I could receive this package from Germany that I ordered on Tuesday, but I'm still waiting on the intake flange I ordered last week that is shipping from Massachusetts.

New spigot adapter arrived! The 30mm adapter is a good fit for the CP Evolution's 28.5mm (internal) flange. It snaps on and with the hose clamp on there, I don't believe it will ever come loose again. I've got about 75 miles on it since installation, and I haven't had any issues. Now that the carb is attached securely and air tight, I've been able to work more on the jetting. I'm currently at a 40 pilot, needle clip in the middle, and down to a 108 main. On long flat roads temps hang around 325. On long steady inclines, I'll get up to 345, but as soon as the road levels out my temps will settle back down. I think I could go leaner on the main, but I feel like I'm in a safe zone where I don't really have to pay much attention to my temp gauge. For my speed runs, the flattest uninterrupted road I have is the I85 access road. It's nice because it's a few miles between intersections with few driveways interrupting it, and it runs both sides of the highway. On my run tonight I was seeing 54mph on the flat section in one direction and 55mph coming the other way! I'm very happy with this as the top speed considering it's just a cast iron sport cylinder! With a little help from a downhill I set a high speed record with this scooter at 65mph! That was quite a rush on this sub 200lb bike with 90/90-10 tires! For now I think I can just put the plastics back on this bike and ride it. I definitely want to see how the Yasuni plays with this cylinder, but I'm in no rush to get that on at the moment. Maybe it can give me the RPM needed to see 60mph on the flat with this thing.

I got this grab bar in today. I think it is super useful but really tidys up the rear end with the JDM taillight. And for the first time since pulling it all apart, it's back together!

Nice Work! im Happy for you.
once you install that Yasuni C16, you will end up raising the roof (porting) to Corsa spec, thus the Cortessa. i have read about the Cortessa on another forum. that bike with C16 and ported Contessa would be a Hammer!
just a thought. you might want to think twice about pegging out the speedometer. did that on my Chinarelli a lot and the speedo stopped working. i thought it was a faulty cable and replaced it, did not fix problem. looked into buying a new speedo gear but in the end, i found that the input tabs on the wheel adapter that interfaces with the speedo gear got worn/ground down from pegging the needle.

with that kind of Speed, you should be looking into front disk break conversion. i would put a big break kit on it with a 220mm floating rotor. At that Speed, you need power to be able to Stop as well, if not DANGER Will Robinson!
maybe some performance tires that are rated for 65+MPH as well.
