Looks like a great platform for a swap if that's ever wanted. Seems to be ready for motorcycle controls, which is probably the toughest part of swapping most of the auto and semi-auto shift pitbike stuff out. 72cc, 90, 110, 125, 140, 150, 160... they go up over 200cc.

Looks similar to some stuff we have here. If it's anything like ours the air intake is massively restricted. Limiting performance.

Reminds me of the Honda SS 50cc of the 1970's but that had normal gears if I remember rightly. Used mine for commuting winter and summer to work at Broadmoor about 20mile each way. Can't remember what happened to it.

Fun bike! Looks like a Honda CL70, but with a bigger gas tank. For sure it would be a great 110cc or 125cc Honda Cub/Lifan-style engine. Too bad Tbolt USA is constantly out of them (they’re one of a only a couple of dealers I’d buy from).

Currently, their main page has a big ad that Piranha 140s are in stock. Not sure exactly where the 140cc comes in, but I have the 160cc version that should be 14-15HP. 140 shouldn't be far off. I think the 110-125cc stuff would be more reliable though. I have personally beat a 110 for a long time and it kept ticking. Eventually I messed up the gearbox, but it went through a lot in 2 bikes and a go-kart, with added stress of a 114cc kit. The bigger stuff seems to start to get to being best for race/play more than riding from my understanding. Even to the point that you start to have to be very careful with kick starting them because it can crack the cases. Another option is an 88cc kit for the 49cc. When I had my 110, a friend had a 49cc with a TrailBikes 88cc BBK, cam, larger carb, pod filter and exhaust. It was pretty much on par with my 110.

Had to jump pretty hard on that thing. I’ve got a 82 Passport frame I’d love to do a Street Cub on.
