Always plan on checking jetting. 60 pilot sounds huge. I think you may be reading the starter jet. The pilot should be the little one that’s sorta hidden by the plate. Maybe, Im not a carb expert and not an mechanic, Im a metal worker by hobbie.

Yesterday, I was trying to fix my bike again, but no luck. Swapped fuel hose, prepared the original air filter box to receive the new 21mm Malossi carb. . I filled the hole, that I found on the engine case too, with liquid metal. Also, I did leave the the 17,5mm Delortto carb on the bike for now. After putting the bike together again for the 3rd time or so, I did the test ride inside the garage complex and on the road too, to see, if my work fixed the issue .... wellll, again No luck. Now I think I try to swap the carb, but I do not know what goes where Those carbs are different, by looking them. I think, the big nipple on the carv is for oil from the oil tank, 2 smaller are air and the 2 grey ones are the fuel, but Im not sure.

I think the two on the manifold are for vacuum (big one) oil feed (smaller one). The lower brass one is fuel. The Gray ones are for air to enter the carb.

In Discord, one of my fellow estonian said, that the Dellortto carb is heated by the coolant - one hose comes from the cylinder head and the other from the water pump. I have not checked that jet. He also said, if I want to install the 21mm Malossi carb, I have to connect the hose coming from the cylinder head directly to the water pump. Maybe that is true, I do not know. I once had a Baotian BT-49QT-28B, that was 2T but it was aircooled. It looked like the 90cc 4T, on my other Build thread. On that 2T scooter, I changed reed valves, put a 17.5mm carb on it and Technicas exhaust too. These are pictures from the 17,5mm Dellorto carb, that I have on my bike right now:

Yes you just connect a pipe to replace the two heater pipes going to the carb.

My theory of the new 21mm carb:

But there are 2 oil hoses too on the 17,5mm carb, that is on the bike right now. What I do with those? The large one on the intake side, that connects to the oil tank under the seat right? but on the 17,5mm carb there comes one out of the left side of the carb and goes somewhere.....

Today was a long day in garage. I started about 11:30am and finished 2am at night. I took the old intake and 17,5mm carb off. And then, when I removed the reed valves, I discovered the problem, what did cause power loss, while riding. Also, the reason, why the bike was not going over 50km/h. One of the reed valve both screws, were extremely loose. It was a pure luck, that the screws did not fell into intake and enter the engine. That would been bad. Video about that long work, will come out soon and there I show the problem too. At 1am at night, I got my bike running, but the idle and rpm´s were so high. I did put all the fairings back on the bike and rode home. On the way home, the rpm´s went high, when I applied the clutch and on the neutral gear too. Maybe I could lower the needle height. I did put the needle stopper in the middle on the new Malossi 21mm carb. The hoses I did put like that:

Does this black thing have to be on the vacuum hose, or can I remove it???

I’d use some thread locker on the reed screws if you didn’t. It’ll keep them from backing out. If the motor eats one of those screws you’re in trouble.
