Today I checked the airfilter condition. I might swap it near future. I even cleaned wheels little bit. Some time near future, I will do a full cleanup on my bike. I need to take it to service, because the odometer will point a wrench at me soon.

Yesterday I noticed, that something has broken off from my bike. Now I need to find new place for that. My town roads are rough for the bike or is it just me. lol

Today after work, I drove to garage and placed the horn to different location, because the original mounting bracket broke. I hope it stays on the new location. Second option was to take the bike apart and weld that bracket back, but I did not want to do that, because I was tired from night shift and wanted to go home to my bed. New location pics:

Yesterday, I thought I will take the bike to the dealership, where I did buy it. For service. But its end of the month and I have no money to pay for it. I did send an email to the dealership, and asked how much will the service cost - 200-300€. Deam. And after that side swipe I had, I think the cost will go up for sure. The handlebar is twister little bit, foot peg is busted maybe some little thing more.

After that crash, the bike is not fine. The right foot peg is busted, front headlight mounting bracket also and handlebar is olso twisted. But that is not all, there is an electrical issue too, the 7.5A fues keeps poping, when I turn the ignition on. The Voltage Regulator braket and horn bracket is also busted. I think the cost of fixing my bike is gonna go up to 500 euros. I do not have money for that. Maybe I can pay for the service with 2 months, I hope. Now I need to take the bus to work every day. Im so sad.

Little update, about the Aprilia SX50 Factory:
On 31-st of May, I did crash the bike on wet roads, after that, my bike was sitting still on my workplace, until now. That´s 1 month and 3 days, without riding my bike. On 04.07.2022, the bike was taken from me and transported to the shop, where I did brought it. I did give the list of things, that I could notice on my bike, with the transport guy. It has been 1 week + 2 days spent her life there now, and I´m waiting for the shop to contact me. Then I will know, how expensive the repairs gonna be and how much it will set me back. I know, that my vacation plans will be ruined. I think, the money that I have right now and little bit of the vacation money, will go into my bike´s repairs. Soon it will be 1 and half month, without my bike. Hope I get her back, when the vacation starts, before 18th of July. Then I could ride at least on my vacation. But we will see. I miss her so much.

Today, I was contacted by the shop, that does my bike repairs. The bike came back from welding (signal and voltage regulator bracket were welded back on). They looked over the bike and said:
1. left front shock was leaking, that will cost about 60€ 2. water pump seal was also leaking, 25€ 3. the reason for the fuses blew on me, was that the wiring was burned. Reason for that - the voltage rev/reg, had no frame ground. New wiring will cost about 200€. 4. Front headlight mount was busted. New headlight will cost 175€.
The total cost of repairs are unknown right now. Bike might need new voltage regulator too, but that will be known, when the new wiring in on bike. I hope the the regulator is ok. I told, that the broken peace, can be plastic welded in place. Then the bike will not need new headlight and we can save that money. They will contact me again soon and I hope, then the total cost of repairs is calculated and my bike is fixed, so I can ride again. I hate taking the public transport to work.

Well guys, It finaly happened - I went down on my bike. Now I need some new shorts. I have "BROWN STAGE" all over those. The video: man I knew it wasn't going to be a fun ride with the road as wet as a mermaids can't. I felt your pain been there, but you handled it well like a pro and surprised at how little damage the bike received. scooter 0lastics are not as forgiving as motocross bike.

Well, The bike had lot of problems, after the crash, what are being fixed right now. I have been without my bike, soon over 2 months. The frame damage and broken brackets are now fixed on the frame. Old wiring was burned, one of the front shocks was leaking etc. The shop will contact me soon, when the new wiring in on the bike and tested out. Maybe then I can get the total cost of the repairs and finally, get my bike back and ride again. I also have problems, with my GoPro hero 8 Black. It gets hot, even when I was recording a video in my underground garage, where is only 2 degree Celsius of heat.

I have no interest to ride again (atleast on wet roads) Glad you’re ok. I’ve put my bike down sliding the front out twice since 2020, once with a broken collar bone, and the second with sprung ribs, so I understand not feeling like riding. You’ll have to decide if it’s still for you, and if you can do it without being a nervous wreck at the end of every ride. Been a bit of a struggle for me, but I’m pushing just to make sure if I stop, it’s because I want to, and not because I don’t have the confidence to be on the bike. My advice is to go out on some fun rides, get back into enjoying riding, then go back into light traffic. Build it up. Hope you get where you’re trying to go.
