That's probably gonna be a tough one. Most of the tires out there for these are 70 aspect ratio. Motorcycle superstore carries a lot of tires and they don't have any.

Have you tried eBay or Amazon.com. Prices can range from $30 - $120 not including shipping for that size of tire depending on brand. If you're lucky you'll find some on clearance.

k yesterday i installed the orange spark plug coil new spark plug and new orange cdi( dc fired) and i got the belt for longcase 50s from scrappy but its still way to short for the belt the vento takes. but wheni put the orange cdi it did nuthin no speed gain and the tach doesnt work with it so i put the huge stock black cdi back in. is there a unrestricted cdi for the vento triton 4t?

oh and it seems like it needs a valve adjustment under the seat it says the stock settin is like .005 and .008 which idk ive always done the .003 .004.. which should i do. cuz if i give throttle fast and let go it will die somtimes or go real low on the rpm and take a few seconds to build back up to proper idle. that means valves need reset right?

What's the number on the belt you got? Is it the 729-17.7-30? If so, if you look just below that they show a longer belt than the standard long case 50 belt that says it's for the Triton and Baja scoots. It's 836-17-30. www.scrappydogscooters.com/Replacement_Parts.htmlA CDI is the most likely cause if something is stuck at a certain RPM, but it could be that roller weights are too heavy to let it rev out or other possibilities. What they sell should be unrestricted. Perhaps you can get a return since the CDI isn't working with your tach and swap the belt too? Not sure, some places will not accept any returns on electrical stuff. See if you can get the right belt and remove the washer you mentioned if there's one in variator and see if that does anything. If you can, weigh your roller weights while you're in there.

and the valve adjustment?

If you adjust the valves, I'd stick with what you've been doing. .005" would be about the max and .008" is just too much. That symptom could be the carb tuning. You could try adjusting the mixture first. Could even be that it's out of tune on the needle or main jet and it's too much fuel being dumped in when you gas it and let off quick. Usually if it dies at idle from carb tuning it's too much fuel and if it takes a while for the engine to slow down it's too little.

It's odd that it wouldn't gain any speed or notice anything else.
Did you weigh the rollers while you were in there?

k the belt was 891-17-30
wierd right here... the rollers wheighed 3.8 grams each. im thinkin the rollers might be my problem a lil bit and i found another spacer.. the first one was before the tooth thing for the kick start then the next was after the the plate before the long round spacer is both of those the resitriction or just one or niether?

The one inside the pulley (after you pull the first drive face off) is a restrictor. The other that's behind the nut is just a washer and you should leave it in place.
3.8g sounds incredibly light for this engine. It should be revving well above 6500 with those in there. What are you using for a tach?
