I bought 2007 Genuine Buddy. Four stroke 125CC. I replaced the cylinder with a pollini 161 CC Big bore with oversized oversized valves. A new exhaust ncy performance exhaust a uni air filter. Does anybody have any other recommendations or ideas or maybe even corrections to what I've done

You’ve got some CVT work to do. Polini, Malossi, or Naraku.
And either a new carb, or at least up-jetting. If you went with a cone filter and more open exhaust, you need more fuel into the engine.

As stated the importance of bigger jets can't be overlooked lean causes heat and heat causes things to burn up. I would recommend a oko flat slide carb in a 26 or 28mm. The flat slide carb adds so much mid range and throttle response is instant. Imo that made almost as much gain as a bbk. If u never ran a slide carb once u do u will never use a cvk carb again. If u do y will need a pwk style throttle cable also but I promise it won't disappoint you. Also as stated a cvt update and tune makes a huge difference also and as y start putting more power down the stock variator and clutch can't hold up to it and goes bad. At the very least a set of lighter sliders and a 1000 rpm contra spring if not a cvt kit is pretty much close to being set up right outta the box they really only have to be tweaked to ur preference. I use naraku I beat mine and it preforms well and after 15,000 miles it shows no sign of wear. But polini and really any other name brand are good.

A good name camshaft can make a good difference a lot of ppl say they didn't feel a big difference from a cam but I had done a kit and bvh and I put cam in a few months after I did the kit and it made a pretty good power increase. The bike idled way smoother and from about 1/4 throttle to wot I felt a good increase it also revs up much faster
