All back together now rear brake cable but pinch bolt is seized that and dip/main headlight switch wait till I back from Hampshire/ Sussex area at the weekend.

I seem to remember some pix; hmmm , seems his welding is on a par with mine. nevertheless ; I need to see how he deals with this and I'm sure it's done with the usual expertise- and facility

Getting there , distracted by fitting rear brake cable. Now to tosh some thick nice underseal on.

Nicked the light switch off my other one for now , road test done all ready for mot and sell, shame really seems more pokey than the leader but needs must etc.   |

Well this one will be off to Chichester in the early hours of Friday morning Lou phoned me up today and was having starting problem with the Honda 10 miles from home so diagnosed it over phone as the brake switch and she got it going but the rear brake is playing up and front caliper is leaking so she is having the Vespa which has no problems and started well today in the freezing cold after standing for 2 weeks. Can't see anyone stuck with a scooter with problems after only having it a short while. I shall then bring the Honda back.

Harry Honda gone back to Lou and now home with Vera the Vespa again after 200 plus mile drive.   |

God what a pain removing a seat lock mechanism from a dead seat to put in mine tomorrow. At least with the old Piaggio skipper seat I could attack it with a hacksaw. But won't be able to the Vespa. Wish me luck, patience and tolerance  |
