My project is the above. It's a 2speed automatic with high and low ratios. I have been searching out one for a long time it is the last scooterette my father had and I want to do it up in his memory. I picked it up this evening and below are before and after washing Ah I forgot I have moved to the dark side it's a 2 stroke 50cc. it.      |

We now have working front brake, ignition lock working with aid of a screwdriver. Spark and compression is good. Carb next to be stripped tomorrow.  |

Well back from Manchester, cracked on with it today. Ordered some new oil seals for the crank and need to buy an ease out as two screws from the stator side wouldn't come out. But all ready to put in new seals when they arrive.   |

One oil seal done and that side assembled, just awaiting gasket now. Exhaust system decoked and drying. That's enough this evening.   |

Other oil seal in tonight, just need to find a couple of counter sunk headed screws to fit stator plate. Most likely Monday now when hardware shop opens where I can get them singley rather than a whole packet i will never use.  |

Not done that for a long time, ignition timing with a cigarette paper. Still works spot on.   |
