I'm thinking. Like wouldnt it be nice if I could go at least 60 mph on a 50cc? Would be cool wouldn't it. But anything faster needs a bigger engine which invokes all of the anti-freedoms of registration, tags, motorcycle license, insurance etc. etc.
So what if someone made a scooter that used 2 49cc engines?
I was also thinking that would be a great idea for the types of bikes that have the side car. Having a side car on a 49cc engine, you'd be lucky to go over 30mph with someone on it. But if it had two engines, it would be no problem.
I like driving 49cc mopeds because.... freedom... tbh. Also now days gas saving.
Idk what the MPG of a 2 engine scooter would be but is it possible to make? I've got some money saved up, anyone have any quotes? Idk if anyone here does or knows of anyone who could make a custom bike like that. But if you could give me a price quote that would be awesome!
But first tell me if my idea is brilliant or retarded. I've been looking at those old WW2 motorbikes with the side car attachment and really wanting to drive one of those, but without all the BS of registration and tags n all that.

2 50cc engines makes 100cc. A well built 50cc bike can do 100mph no joke. And im not talking Hawaiian mph's. There are parts everywhere and readily for sale to build a proper 70mph 50cc. youtu.be/HSmTjIE3AIs

Quite a few of the manufacturers like stage 6, Malossi ect make performance 50cc cylinders. But not many people buy them as most markets once over 30mph makes it illegal. If your going to be riding illegally anyway, might as well go for a bigger displacement. And the bigger kits are cheaper. The simplest way to go that fast is electric. The power is measured differently in electric vehicles. That's why BMW can sell a 47bhp scooter as 14.7bhp. Just have to bypass the speed limiter on the 50cc equivalent.

2 engines wouldn't be that much fun in real life. 2 stock 50s would not be worth the trouble IMO. 2 engines would really be suited to trikes more than 2 wheelers anyway for a "simple" setup. Unless it's an electric hub motor, driving the front wheel would not be easy. I guess you'd really need a different engine configuration to let 2 engines drive 1 axle. Otherwise if one engine died you'd go in circles or if they were uneven in output it may try to steer itself. You've got 2 engines to maintain and they have to be in sync with each other and there's likely a lot to figure out to do it right... and the 2 combined may be able to keep up with a simple sport 70cc two-stroke setup if you're lucky.
I can't give legal advice, but I'd guess if you're in an area where you could get away with a dual-engine scooter and 50MPH and no one bothering you... you could probably just put a 70cc kit on that still looks stock and ride the same 50MPH without anyone bothering you.

If youre the average Honda Chad theres not many options for 50cc rippers. If you want 50cc speed you have gotta go Polini Evolution LC for Minarelli motors.

You biggest problem even keeping it a 50cc were I live its 50cc or over 4kw in power needs a full bike lincence, so keeping it 50cc, may not have insurance, and ive seen videos of people being pulled off and scooter put on roolers to see what speed, your 50cc is already restricted to a speed limit, so as soon as you up that your breaking the law there, im lucky I don't use insurance, get mot with 50cc motor then put what ever I wsnt to in or do what ever I want, cops don't care they look and give the thumbs up, I have a rc-one 94cc rejested as 50cc and I only need a car lincence but as I said im lucky as long as your registration is payed they don't care
