I have a 1988 Yamaha razz sh50, hoping to use it for the rest of high school and then sell. The body panels are in bad shape… I picked it up for free and the previous was in multiple small crashes. What should I use to fix the cracks that is cheap and will stay?

It you have a soldering iron, you could try plastic welding them. Quite a few tutorials on YouTube.

You can also use ABS pipe cement to help reinforce the welds.

You can also use ABS pipe cement to help reinforce the welds. -And some ABS sheet which can be found at hardware stores.
Cracks can also be reinforced with fiberglass cloth and resin, available at hardware and auto supply stores.
I have also seen people use formed metal plates and pop-rivets, which does not look very nice.
Some people have even cultivated the 'naked' bike look without most plastic panels or just a minimum.
